Some of my renaissance group went to Dickens Festival this weekend again. This time I showed up in tail. We took photos with Queen Victoria and Father Christmas. :) I was later dubbed "Lady Koral" by Queen Victoria of the Dickens Fest! And this single mermaid (aww, yes. I didn't tell anyone here) met the most wonderful pirate, so darn sweet and amazing! Jack Sparrow's cousin; Jim Swallow (to the left of the photo, next to me). I've been quite a busy mermaid!

I'm going to go swimming somewhere as soon as I can, and I'll have pictures taken so I can post them in the merbellas thread. I'm going to try and get one of the local hotels to let me use their pools to practice swimming.
The first tail I made for my little girl was not swim-able as it was made from an old pair of leggings and a cardboard fluke, but I did make her a second one out of fabric and an Oceanik fin, here is a video of her swimming in it https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...2184118&type=3 :D
