Wow !!! it's beautiful :) I love your iridescent white tail !
I have come across these photos before and i have to say i love EVERYTHING about your mermaid look
whoaaaa---- that white tail is stunning-- and I LOVE the top!
ahhhh all of you look so incredible!
These are great, all! I'll have to back-track to check the older photos in this thread. Ilonka, looks like I'm not the only mer with a white tail. Good to see Delphine has cousins. XD You look fin-tastic! Love the white & iridescent theme! What did you use as skin adhesive to stick your sequin-scales on? I had looked into a special skin glue, however could not find one that still works underwater. In your look, the scales (in your tail & on your skin) are one of my favorite parts! :) The silvery-white wig is lovely, like moonlight. Funny enough, I'd also considered one, however didn't want to deal with swimming in a wig. Anyone on here have experience doing that?
Today, I had my "official" underwater shoot, though my makeup is.. well, my makeup artist described as "like a watercolour." I love it & will share photos soon. I have to take a look at how they turned out & watch the video clips. Perhaps I can make a gif? Although I've never made one, I have seen some cool merfolk ones on MN before.
Thank you so much!
Iv always loved the way white looks in art and costumes, makes things look angelical and otherworldly.
The glue i used isnt waterproof (although the makeup seller claimed it was) Its Mehron brand, most of my special FX makeup products are either from them or Ben Nye, they make the best and most affordable special FX supplies.
The best way to wear a wig underwater is to braid your hair (like in corn rows) and pin the wig onto your braids OR use a silicon swim cap and punch holes into it using hair pins to pin the wig onto it. Basically you need an anchor for allot of pins to keep the wig on. In most of my underwater shoots I have used extensions, i definately recomend using clip ons over a wig, less of a hastle.
Cant wait to see your pics!

I LOVE the bad mermaid one. would have been better if it was topless and everyones hair was super crazy and make up running down the cheeks lol...
Thanks Krystal ! yeah was a bit spur of the moment due to weather changes but was great fun - some of the girls got quite intimate in their shots and were very seductive with each other looked awesome !
I also love the mermaids in the tub shoot! :D
Also, RayeBlonde, your tail is just so gorgeous. <3 Mertailor has really stepped up the tailmaking! Have you gotten the monofin issue worked out?
Rayblonde It's a wonderful H2O's tail !!! Love it :)
Raina the cove for your book is a success !

Claire it looks amazing!
Wow, great shots, all! And Claire, how long did it take you to finish your silicone tail. That seemed sooo fast!!!
Ilonka, thanks for all the wig & glue tips!
I started in January, I spent a lot of time to make my foam's scales board and my molds, and after that approximately 2/3 weeks to finish the rest of the tail ^^
But I had to hurry because I had a photo shoot this weekend! I thought I'd never make it !
congrats again Claire!
