The only downside is it's a bit big in the foot pocket, so I was struggling to keep it from rubbing against my ankles and giving my blisters. Instead I got a blister AND bruises form how hard I was tensing my feet to keep them in place. Some sock and sock liners stopped the blister from getting worse, but now I have to wait for the bruises to heal. That's a temporary fix though, I need to buy some neoprene socks. Any suggestions? What brands do you guys wear to swim in?[/QUOTE]
As an adult who got a child's large oceanika, I had to cut the foot pockets larger because it was cutting into my skin, brusing, and blistering. Now that it's cut, I still have a near constant bruise, blisters, and pain, but it's just the price for that fin in my opinion. My competitor cuts the back/side of my heels, and hurt the top part of my foot. Different fins fit differently.
