I received a new sketch from her on the 7th Jan. I think this will be our last adjustment before the design is perfect.
Even though it's delayed communication, I have been so unbelievably impressed with her sketches! It was exactly what I had pictured in my head.
It will be a dream come true when it arrives!

She named it Spectrolite, after the gemstone that has the same iridescent purples, blues and oranges.
I'm so in love with it.
We are just tweaking it a bit to remove the oranges from being block colours on the sides of the body and instead gradually phase them into stripes elongated down the back.

Sorry I dropped off the radar everyone! Here's a quick update post-Mermania!
My tail is wonderful in the water, but I have crazy foot blisters haha. It is SO sparkly. Like really...if you're thinking about investing in the glitter top coat, do it. All the colors are extremely metallic. I took it flying and stored it in the overhead bins 4 different times with no hassle from anyone. I do feel bad for the Charlotte hand-check security though....mine was like the 8th or 9th tail she had to do in the past couple days. I'll be posting my xmas unboxing video once I can edit it...I apologize in advance for the poor video quality. The lighting wasn't bright enough and m dad's camera is old. I'll follow up with a better Merbella's Experience Review video. :) Here are a couple pics from the festival! <3

I wonder how she chooses which tail to do next. I would think she'd go in order of which came first. Mer-Crazy has been waiting a long time and I ordered back in March. Nonetheless that is one gorgeous tail! I can't wait to see that in person.
I'd like to get one of my dream tails from Raven but it's a fairly plain silver tail and I know she I prefers more interesting designs :(
She tends to try and get people who threaten her or try to blackmail her out of the way first. Seriously. It happens. It sucks ( finfolk deal with it) she tries to stay in order but some things or aspects change priority.
She tries to really filter clients now as to only take people on who actually understand her and aren't in a mad rush. I expect as problem clients get finished and or filtered out we will see more streamlined.
I honestly feel problem clients ( my term, not hers) are responsible for delays. People who want a million changes, or try to have an intense back and forth, or hit their wait limit and then change everything etc

That's so disappointing that people would actually threaten her, it clearly outlines in the Merbella FAQs that it's a 300+ day timeframe.
We can all wait in suspense together!! :)

Completely ridiculous! If you don't have the patience to wait for a tail, there are some tail makers who you should not order from. Especially when they are clear about their wait times, and well known to have long wait times. To order from Raven and then get upset about the wait is just beyond me.
