Here's the one hair clip that wasn't too big to attach:Attachment 26693
Edit: WOAH! Sorry this is sooooooooo big, I don't know how to make it smaller...
I've made a nice accessoiry this evening.
A mirror!

Cowgirlmermaid, that is such a clever idea! A little shell mirror :) Cute!
It's quite small, probably 10 by 10 cm.
I hope I can try and make a few more soon, but I need to find some more small make-up mirrors first.
and I've found it's very hard to find them... Wish me luck..
Hey everyone :D I thought it would be fun to share a shell headband I made the other day :P Attachment 27165 Attachment 27166 Attachment 27167 Sorry about the size!
Not really an accesory but I couldn/t think of another thread to share it.
Here are my colorful painted and bedazzeld shells!
Maybe they would be fun giveaways at gigs? (When I start doing that)

cool :) I like the pearlescent ones
Here's another, bigger (3cm) pearlescent one :)

The secret shells are black because they would reveal what I use to paint them ;)
I nearly forgot to post this here! I made it about a month ago...
The base is jute covered wire, thick, about 16 gauge. The pearls, shells, and greenery are all attached with wire as well. No glue was used. The greenery is both pinkish and green. with a pearlescent finish.
I hope to add a few to my inventory, soon.
Spectacular, Pearlie!
wow!
so regal!
Shows that Pearlie deserves her Sea Empress title.
:hail:
@cowgirl; if I had received such a shell from a real mermaid as a kid, I would have treasured it forever.
Pearlie, would jute covered wire be safe for swimming if it was rinsed afterwards?
I should have mentioned that the jute covered wire is sealed in resin! But it should be fine if rinsed and dried after swimming!
You rock. Thanks!
Here's my latest creation. Mermaid tiara. Did this in a few hours during my free time. Started a new belt too but it's not done yet.

Did I just scroll too fast and not see any, or do not a lot of mers work with hemp? I make a crap ton of hemp macrame jewelry, so of course the first shell necklace I made for my mermaid outfit is done in hemp cord. It also has glass, wood, and ceramic beads.
