I have to admit I'm getting really nervous about the fit of my tail. I've seen several people have fitting issues in terms of length. I told myself it would be fine.. then I realized the measuring chart she had when I sent in my measurements asked for the top measurement to be at the belly button. Now the current chart says at the waist. Vertically, there's a solid 3 inch difference between those two for me :( I emailed her about it. *bites nails*

So the shipping of my tail got delayed cause there was a little oopsie in my order. xD
What kind of oopsie? Sorry about that. I'm sure you're way anxious!
I'm really excited, but I'm patient! :) It's my fault really, two months into my tail I decided to add a bra to my order, I paid for it and everything. The bra wasn't done when my tail was finished, so Raven is finishing it up before sending it all! <3

Very pretty :) I'm so excited for my tail I can hardly wait! Raven said she was shipping it May 3rd (I believe i'd have to check to verify) and I can't wait for the tracking number I just want to see it with my own eyes :)
Poor Raven is sick again :( Tyler too. She's been sick so many times since she started tail making. She works so hard! Last I saw she was working on octo tops and sketching new fluke designs while sick in bed, becuase she refuses to stop working completely!
Just thought I'd let you guys know.
All right. Hopefully she feels better soon, it sucks that they're both sick. ): Maybe they'll take a well-deserved vacation sometime to take a break.

That would be an awesome thing to do. Though, I'm not sure how we'd all fund it....But if someone can come up with a way to do it, I'd chip in, even though I'm states away, and don't even have a merbellas tail (Want one though. In a few years. :D)
Just got an update from Raven. She is such a sweetheart. My tail has been built in just a month (I put rush order on it) and shes is going to try and paint It next week. So excited!! But at the same time I told her to rest, her health is way more important than a tail.

Talked to Raven today! She sent me pics and we discussed some color tweaks :D Basically one of the colors I wanted for my tail refused to work (wouldn't show up at all on top of the other colors, no matter how she tried) so we discussed it and she's going to try a different alternative. I was a little sad cause it was that gorgeous turquoise color I fell in love with on some other tails she'd done, but if it won't work it won't work. She gave me a great alternative that I'm really excited to see how it turns out :)
I absolutely love that she talks to her customers and works out any changes they want- and she's so professional about it! I know personally if I had spent hours and hours working my butt off on something then someone asked me to change it I'd be hurting or frustrated. But she's very receptive to feedback, which to me makes a huge difference. She knows that this is people's hard earned money on the line and she wants it to be perfect for them. Where others would get hurt at feedback she takes it and works with it, which is just awesome. :thumbs up:
So I just wanted to share that with you all, and to let you know she's really awesome at taking feedback. She told me she knows it's a lot of back and forth sometimes, but to her it's better to have all that than just saying that it's done and shipped and have a customer get a less than perfect tail. So if you order from her and get pics, don't be afraid ask about changes. :)

She's such a perfectionist too haha. :) My tail was supposed to arrive to her on Friday but it didnt :( been in transit for 6 days despite paying money to make sure it got to her by Friday. Boooo. It's not the same as waiting for a NEW tail, but I'm really excited to have mine taken in hahaha

I know she's still sick in bed, and was even painting in bed, lol. So I think she's probably working hard on the existing tails before checking emails. Hopefully you'll all hear back soon! :D I'm so excited for all of you!
