I am a new mer, and I haven't had the time or resources to make a seashell top like the beautiful (beautiful, agh) ones you guys make; but I found this cute beachy crop top at the store today that I can wear once I finally get my own tail. <3

I decided to make an abalone top instead since my first seashell top couldn't really hold up well due to lack of support. The fishnet was much needed.
This top was definitely a labor of love :)

Well... I feel a little shy about this because it's my first top... but...
Here it is! It's made with an old bra, aquarium silicone, and some scraps of fishnet, old bellydancing coins, some sequins and shells...

I've been wanting one of those Ariel-clams-over-the-boobs t-shirts for a while, but the designs were always too small and/or too high up on the chest for me. Recently I found a really cool DIY stencil tutorial and decided to give it a try. Turned out exactly how I saw in my head! I'll make a post with the tutorial and shirt progress pics soon for anyone interested.
