i feel ya. there was a rumor going around last week that there was going to be a shooting at our school's pep-rally (its mandatory to go) i was so close into skipping until the principle said on the loud speaker that it wasnt true and they caught the dude spreading the rumor. tbh idk if she was more angry about the thought of canceling the pep-rally or how it went viral on twitterQuote:

My dad was poking fun at me this morning (I paint little toy guns for fun... (I had a state trooper try to put me in cuffs because he thought my "Canine Cannon", repainted tennis ball cannon, was a real weapon)) saying that I could start "rummaging"? (Might be the word he used) through yardsales, and try to find old kids toys like picket ponies, and old plastic dollhouses that need new paint jobs, re paint them all after buying them for super cheap, then sell the repaired and repainted toys for a buck or two more.
I think it's a great idea and all, but I wish he would just make up his mind on whether I'm good enough to make stuff and sell it, or if I'm not good enough and suck?!?
Alright, so I keep ALL of my co-workers in the dark about my mermaid life. And for a good reason. If any of them found out about it, they would judge me and harass me to no end, like they did when they found out that I was a cosplayer/crossplayer.
So today, I found a post from a coworker that went along the lines of "I can't believe there are people out there that put on mermaid tails and swim in them as a past time. Sounds like some people need to get their priorities straight."
Then I promptly posted a pic of myself from the springs and said, "I'm one of them, and I find your comment offensive."
Dude, people who have attitudes like that need to get their priorities straight. At least you're making a difference in the world and our ecosystems.

Some people have tiny, uninteresting lives and they try and fill it with things they can buy at the mall. They are all too afraid to deviate from what they think is 'normal'. Priorities? I have a full time job, a side business as a tailmaker, a loving beau, my bills are paid, my pets are taken care of, I'm close with my family who supports my wacky hobbies, and I'm happier than a speckled pup in a red wagon.Quote:

But the worst part of it all was me standing there while she bled, while she laid on the opposite road scared and weak, while she exerted herself to try and get away from us, and me feeling so helpless and so useless for not punching the fuck out of the old bastard to try to keep him away because it would only spook and stress her out more.
Only running on 5 hours of sleep and it has traumatized and upset me so fucking much that I just don't want to get up today. I just want to lay in bed and keep crying and feeling regretful for leaving her alone in the forest at night.
Honestly I wanted to say something last night to everyone but I felt it wasn't the time.
If you are that douchebag who thinks you can go up to wildlife and not respect it's space, not to mention disrespect the people calling help and telling them to shut up, then you deserve to get hit and have someone poke at you while you're bleeding on the side of the road.
Oh my God, I'm crying now. I am extremely sensitive when it comes to animals, and this made me feel sick to my stomach. I hate how many people have such little respect for animals. I cried myself to sleep last night.. Well this morning technically.
Deer happens to be one of my animal totems. I feel like I was meant to see it. We took a wrong turn on the road on our way back and then we decided to take the long way to her place and that's when we saw her. After that incident she ended up turning the car around and drove me home.
I contacted someone online after we tried calling last night. Hopefully someone from the conservation area sees her and rescues her. If she was a mother id hate for her children to be orphaned.
Thankfully the place has a rehab center in the area. If they can't save her I just hope they euthanize her so at least she doesn't have to suffer
