Heaven only knows how long that would take and how much that would have been. Besides, Mernation is willing to personally do my fitting for my tail at my home and hand-deliver my tail.
With the intricate paint job, dorsal, pectoral fin, competitor monofin PLUS finned mermaid bracers and top, the whole thing came to $3400. I'm done with the first half already. I'll be making the first down payment as soon as I return from the Hoggetown Ren Festival.
They are also great with updates and staying in touch from what I have heard from others ^^Quote:

That is a great deal! Not much more than mine cost. I love the work they do and how willing to help you with everything they are. I'm hoping to be compensated by the usps for my dorsal. I'll be taking it to the post office tomorrow to see if I can get something out of the insurance mernation put on the tail and they are working with me every step of the way by contacting usps and sending them detailed info about what happened. They are just as concerned as I am about the issue. I'll keep yall up to speed but just know mernation is helping me with this.Quote:

I am going to be ordering a single blue colour tail (with white accents upgrade) and 4 sets of fins in march! I am so excited! I keep seeing and reading all of these mernation related things and going crazy with anticipation. Its going to be so great! :dance:

I don't yet have anywhere near the cash to order my tail but MerNation have been wonderful to me and responding to all my queries regarding colors and glow paint and glitter coatings and just everything I have had questions about that relate to my design and even by giving me an approximation of what I would need to pay for my dream tail! (Which is quite a lot)
They can't answer everything cause I don't yet have the money to be a client but I am hoping even with my situation to save the cash to get my tail asap and so I just leave them to respond as they can considering how busy they are! But there communication and also time it takes them to make the tail etc was what made me know deep down they were the ones I had to go with for my dream tail! They were even kind enough to follow me on my Mermaid page on Facebook like how amazing is that??
I wish you all luck with it and can't wait too see your tails and how they turn out! Will definately keep an eye out to see what your tails look like as I am sure they will be stunning!
*screams* Omg I've just payed for my tail! It should be ready by April! I went for the single colour tail and a top to match. I think I'm the first scottish mer to have a silicone tail? I don't know but I'm just way over excited!!! :D

I just submitted my down payment on my tail! Lauren came and measured me for my tail and helped me make my duct tape dummy at my apartment! I'm so glad I'm going with MerNation! :)
