That looks awesome! Does hot glue hold up to water? I'm sort of unsure how to make my top because I figured anything I hot glue won't last.
Hot glue will not hold up in water, use e6000 and make sure you allow it to cure properlyQuote:

So many beautiful tops so many ideas. Looking at all the netting and being glad i can crochet fishnet myself.....love doing net with gradient thread or bands of colours..... RAINBOW FISHNET FTW!!.. Also being able to crochet lace looks like it'll come in handy, there's a particular one i've made before that looks very seaweedy:

My abalone top!!! I used pearlex rubbed into the shells and then sealed eith a clear spray paint! Hard to see, in fact might add more later, i brushed out some twine and added it to the outside edges!
