Dw, it passes. When I was a teen, everyone thought I was anorexic because I was so thin and my appetite then was huge. I'd eat big amounts of food but never get fat. People always assumed there was something wrong with me just because I was stick thin and wondered where all the food went. Well I can tell you now, all that food went to my waist and butt! :lol::$Quote:

That sucks, Momo. My (unhealthy, corset wearing) paternal great grandmother died with a fifteen inch waist. Give them THAT number if they think 24 is too thin. *sigh*
I've struggled with an eating disorder for four years and I want to fight this lady. S T O P. body shaming is the worst. once when I was working (in the children's zoo) this bald guy brought his kid over and I told the kid not to climb on the fence for his safety and the guy FLIPPED. he yelled at me about how I'm overreacting and it's not going to hurt him, and as he left he told ME to get my hair the right color. sorry baldy but my purple hair looked bangin that year. people are so rude

I know exactly how you feel, I had to wait 2 years before I got mine because my mom kept insisting that you could break your ribs and stuff and refused to read the information I sent her or watch the videos. So in February, since I wasn't home I decided to buy one cuz they couldn't stop me lol. The next time they came to visit me I had it on and my mom is actually thinking of getting one now, And lovely rats *swoons

I have a corset too, but it's a little to long, when I'm sitting it pushes into my armpits, but when I'm standing it looks great and I love the feeling. To bad my dad had to crush that feeling by bluntly saying in my face that it made me look ugly and as if my breast had to be under my chin or something like that. It's an overbust corset, so yes, my breasts get pushed together, and it may look a little odd when I'm sitting, but to say that I'm ungly... grah! Sad to say, I rarely wear it now... maybe I should get a different one

I don't know. Sometimes I think he is scared that his 'little' girl is making herself look to sexy or selling my body off or something bizar. I'm happily married, and I rarely wear anything in the terms of sexy. I got nothing revealing in my closet except a playful nightdress. My mother says nothing of it, but I sometime thinks she disapproves as well. But I wear what I want, and they aren't stopping me now
