Oh my gosh you're right. That makes me curious and scared at the same time. haha

Those are awesome!! And what a kid friendly concept- scaled bathing suit, leggings, and a bag to carry it in. I love the shape of the flukes, and how big they are! I really hope they can get steady enough to offer adult sizes!
SO MANY MERMAID COSTUME MAKERS MAKES ME HAPPY
I have just ordered an Oceanika monofin - I'll do a review one I get it and test it out! :D :D
OHHHH! Exciting! Do show pictures!! :)
... I wonder where she got the capital and resources to start the company?
This is GREAT!! They now sell just the fins. My daughter has a top that she wares and now with the new bigger fin I can cover it with fabric just as I did with her smaller fin. I have ordered one but the shipping was 85.00. :( I will wait for the review though. That is a lot of money for me at the moment.

This is the review of the Oceanika Monofin. Enjoy, and I apologise for my incessant stammering.
Thank you for posting the video!!
I hope you don't mind, I just changed the video link to an embedded video. If you'd prefer for people to watch it on youtube I can change it back.
That's a really informative helpful review. Thanks for making it. Also, what kind of camera did you use to film this? It looks really good.
Thanks for the review! You did a good job and it's OKay I stammer alot on camera LOL :D
Malinghi - it's all good- thanks for embedding it! The camera I currently use is the Olympus Stylus Tough 3000.
I really want one of these!!! Perfect for putting into a tail! You wouldn't have to cut it or anything. :)
@Mermaid Hamant I have the same idea *.*

looks like she put an oceanika merfin in her tail! :)
She certainly did! It was a pleasant surprise to discover that this monofin folds in half so easily, so it can be slipped into a tail. I do this with mine and let me tell you, the effect is WAY better than with any finis fin! Like I said in my video review, the only real thing to take into consideration is that you WILL not go fast in an Oceanika fin. If you want speed, get a Finis Competitor, but if you want an effective mermaid fin, this is the way to go! :)
I should actually do a video demonstrating how easy it is to manoeuvre the Oceanika fin.
Would an Oceanika fin fit in a Mermagica or Magictail tail? Can a beginner use one well?
Alveric
A beginner can certainly use this fin, Alveric! But note though: If you want to perfect your dolphin kick, I'd suggest a finis rapid - only because it has a stiffer plastic blade and the oceanika is made entirely of recycled rubber.
It won't fit into a magictail.de tail and I don't know if it'll fit into a mermagica. But dude, just make your own tail to go over it. It's easy to make!
Very cool video! It's pretty cool to see someone use this monofin in their tail :D
