I still have the same problem, some parts deform and smooth with your finger, any solution? I'll have to try to cool them !!!

Are you letting them cure completely? Pulling them from the mold too soon will cause them to deform.

Pearlie no, I mean the scales of clay, when stacking as seen in the picture, they are distorted by the handling of the scales , is plastilina

I was referring to the pieces of clay, not the silicone .

DON'T USE WATER. It will ruin your mold!

Cool the scales in the refrigerator so they don't lose their shape, and handle them carefully.

Great job on the scale tests! I always wondered which scales would be the best and worst in terms of fluid dynamics.....

Additionally, I see you have quite a spread of monofins. You could write quite a thorough review to compare each! Really, I wish I could get ahold of a fluid dynamics lab to test all these things. It would be really interesting.

thanks Dreamie , in question to monofins, by now that I like are mahina merfins, although quite tight and hurt me feet, I had to cut and yet I still do damage, and fins Minos give much power and propulsion, foil finis is rather soft and has a smooth kick.
