I'm so glad you like it, sweetie. I thought you guys deserved a little something special for being so awesome. I mean, this conversation thread is forever long, and you've always answered my questions really quick, and your personality is so friendly and comforting, that it never felt awkward, or like you were impatient with me. Most of our conversations make me smile wide or laugh aloud. I'm just happy to return the favor.

Awe, thanks, guys. More spots to add to the ventral side, and five extra fins to be inserted, but it already looks so much like my original photoshop drawings, I'm just in love with it.

Ok, wow! When I saw the sculpt for this fluke I was like "OMG"

Now that I see your tail, painted, just.... No words can do it justice! I really love it, with all the dots, the long, flukes, the colors.... It's just crazy-awesome! You have one fantastic tail right there!

Awe, thanks you guys. I'm so happy and thankful to have such a positive reaction to it. These guys have been so great with me the whole time, we communicated about the paint job all day yesterday, Michael would ask me how I liked something, and I would tell him what I thought, or I would ask for his opinion as an artist, and he would tell me. It looks so much like my picture, though, that it's like watching something created in 2d become a real, 3-dimensional object.

I won't just be wearing their hard work and beautiful artistry,but mine as well. I don't know how many hours I spent in photoshop working on getting the design just right. The initial placement and color scheme didn't take very long, but I kept tweaking it until it was perfect (especially after the new fluke came out). Attachment 19051
There's a finishing touch or two to add after the fins are on and secured, and then I think she'll be done.

It's so pretty! It's nice to see, I didn't realize MerNation were so good at tail making. I don't think I recall seeing a tail of theirs look so nice before. :)

Yes, exactly! I know I'm getting exactly what I want on my tail, because I keep getting opportunities to share my input all along the way! I think I'm more in love with it every time I see it. <3

We decided to add a few little spots to the fins for blending. 'Cause, y'know, my tail wasn't "Dottie" enough. (a hyuk, a hyuk, a hyuk, a hohohoho!)
