Wow I am glad you said you didn't edit the photos, because I would have thought that you photoshoped where the tail meets your waist. What an amazing new tail! I love the colors too and how they shine so nicely in the water.

Does you're new fluke give the same powerful push as a competitor?Also it looks smaller and thicker is the foil really different from a competitor?

Competitor is made of fiberglass. Very strong and big. Gives much push.
Foil is made of rubber. Strong, but flexible and much smaller. Doesn't give as much push.
it gives no push. lol. I find it really hard but it's a learning curb I will figure it out :)
Mega-Rapidash is a wonderful new addition to your arsenal. I'm glad that your video showed you lying on the deck and worming your way into the pool; most videos just show mermaids already in the water and thus it is nice to see the full and realistic process. The flowy fluke does move especially like a fish's tail even if it doesn't give you much power (though I'm glad I'll be starting with a Competitor, as I've never swum in a full silicone mermaid tail before!)
That blended waist is amazing, too; it makes the tail seem more a part of you than your own legs! :mermaid kiss:
I don't usually worm in. Sean was holding the camera and was distracted by someone else talking to him. I usually have him place me right on the edge. Worming takes a chance of hurting your tail

That is a magnificent review you posted; it addresses all of the questions and concerns to show how epic a designer/sculptress/paintress Raven is, and is festooned with several pictures and videos which do likewise (it was also cool to see how an underwater photosession is done!)

I do have wrinkles at my ankles unless I'm pointing my toes, but after the stress of trying to get in and out of my tail quickly I asked Raven to make the ankles an inch bigger so I could get my legs out faster. I knew I'd end up with a wrinkle but for the practicality of it I just had to sacrifice. It's great to look good in photos but I need it to function too lol.

Poetry in motion; that is the phrase which comes to mind! :mermaid kiss: Those heel fins do an excellent job of concealing your feet; I'm tempted to ask for some myself but I'm not sure if they would distract too much from the big pectoral "wing" fins of my design....

Oh Raina, how much does your new tail weigh and how much did the retired one weigh? I'm trying to figure out who has the lightest silicone tail option out there. Mernation and Mermaid creations are roughly the same weight.

That's one of the most beautiful tails I've ever seen! It's amazing how much Raven has grown and it's wonderful to see she's always trying out new things and experimenting. Once I get out of school (3 more years) I would love to own one of her tails, they are absolutely GORGEOUS!
Yes I think I have the first hand experience of how great she was to start- and how much she's grown. It's really impressive I am so proud of my tail maker :)
