I tried to get a better shot of the colors, but for some reason the teal and green between the yellow and blue don't photograph very well. Needless to say though, the tail is GORGEOUS. <3

SOO pretty!!! Tail colors can be hard to photograph- they do better In the shn, but they're always so much prettier in person. SO happy for you! Congrats! :D *happy dance*

Thanks everyone! <3 I'm so in love with it I can't even stand it! I didn't order any special monofin, so I just have the regular finis with it. :) I'll do a full blown review after I swim with it this weekend.

Yes. Mine's a basic tail. :) Raven said she worked on my fluke extra hard. She mentioned it being different than others, because she was trying different things with it. The sides of the fluke are extremely thick, and it looks so fishlike! I HAVE to take pictures of the seams for you guys. Or better yet, lack of seams! <3
.....so yeah....totally going to get a basic tail as soon as I can afford it...there's nothing basic about Raven's basic tail....
OHMYGOOOSSSSH. I just need to save up money for one. T^T I have a college fund I could use, but my grandparents (who control said fund until I am 21) are against anything out of their comfort zone. =.=

Omg, the design I made for the first tail I'm going to make really looks like one of Raven's tails (the blue one with the white highlight) I made my design before I was a member of the Mernetwork and saw the pictures. I feel really bad now because I don't want anyone to think that I stole the design. I am not going to change my design either because I fell in love with it so Sorry Raven! (Ofcourse my tail won't look as professional and pretty es hers xD )
I went to Lowes today to get glue for something, and honestly considered trying to make a tail, but decided against it. Too 'spensive for me.

Did you guys see the purple and yellow tail? I think it's a basic but she mentioned the little heart shaped scale patches and OMG, too cute! I love the colors on that tail, too. Omg. <3 It's so gorgeous. I'm getting so anxious for my bracers! It's been six weeks and I'm just so excited for them to be here already. D:
Thankyou so much Mizuko. <3 When I put it on it fit like a GLOVE. It was nice and tight and it went up just where I wanted it to. (I was so scared about measurements you don't even know!) I plan to swim in it this weekend, and I'm SO excited, I know I'll probably cry again. Hahaha!

The tails here are awesome! But as a relative newbie here, I am "floundering" around looking for the purple and yellow one. Would love to see it too. The pix Raina posted were stunning, with the shell imprint so distinct! I love the work these tailmakers put into their designs! Wow!
