yeah Mimi's tail was a year in January I believe, so like a year 5 months. But hers is really simple, we sent my old rapidash fluke (threw out the body) to be recycled. Just a regular tail no fins etc.
I'm on day 858, so getting close! :D

Do you guys pay for your tails as soon as a slot opens or do you pay before the sketches start happening?
I pre ordered the last batch of cuffs I got 1 galaxsea one I'm so excited to get it! Wish I could afford 2 but I'm so happy I could get one. She posted a demo of the galaxsea one in instagram and it looks stunning.Quote:

You pay as soon as a slot opens and you are accepted. Once a slot opens up, you have to send a request email with the tagline funds available for them to consider you. It is to my understanding that they're quite specific about the commission's they take. The last two spots that opened up had to give Raven complete creative freedom with the tails.
Today was a cruddy work day and a tropical storm is slamming us, but my day got brighter when I saw that Merbellas still has silicone scale cuffs for sale!!! I was trying to decide between the GalaxSea and Fiji wave. It was a hard decision because I wasn't sure what would match my current tail best as well as my future tail(s), but it came down to me really loving that light blue/silver tail Raven made that was in the Weeki Wachee Calendar:

Mercrazy you got it!!! That tail is beautiful, I saw she named it Whimsy, that's a fitting name I think. I ADORE the markings on it, and you look wonderful swimming in it. All the accessories are amazing, I love the abalone top, I almost picked one of those up myself.

How does the process for the premade stuff on facebook work?
I sent in a email, and I want to go to the store, but do I need to be here to respond immediately to the email in order to get the tops? Like how will I know whether I'm able to purchase them? If they email me back does that mean I can purchase them, and respond any time in the next 3/4 hours, or do I have to be the first one to respond? XD I'm afraid to leave the house I want one so bad!! I've been obsessed with merbella and would love to own something from her!

I GOT THE TENTACLE TOP!!! omg omg OH MY GOD!!!!! I.....I can't even!!!! I knew I really wanted a Merbella tail, but was nowhere close to being able to afford it, or have the patience for the process, or get a slot, and I've ADORED her work from a far especially her tops, but again I didn't think I'd ever be able to get a slot and then the premades came out and I didn't see them until later in the game and I was shaking because I was so scared I was way too late and now I can die happy!!! I just want to cry oh my god.... what a day.... I just can't believe my luck. the top was even made in my exact size, and my favorite colors, and should be a nice contrasting accent colored match to my tail!! T.T I need to go catch my breath XD
From personal experience if you message them saying 'I would like to buy item x & y if they're still avalible' they'll hold them for you (assuming you have finds avalible of course)

That sounds exciting! Sounds like she's really getting through the orders :) hopefully when she wittles them even further down everything starts going fast and furiously for her. I know that she has a couple more legging patterns coming out as well I'm excited for that I love mine so much I can't wait to get another set.
Did anyone else order a bracer during the second pre-sale for 7/7? Did you get a shipping notification yet?
My order is still in-process, so I assumed that Raven needed a little more time to finish them up since she's adding so many new product lines. But I saw her post on the 5th saying they were ready to go so I'm just curious if any shipped out yet. I figured I'd ask you guys!
