They're still filming Mako Mermaids season 3 though anyway. Still though, this cartoon...I can't get over how different it is. I have to tell myself that it's basically not H2O. basically just not H2O at all, different show. :P

Just reading the last 2 pages makes me really wish I kept up with the show, but I couldn't get past the ridiculous feel the show has to it

They can talk underwater now and the animals can talk back.
And Cleo's not afraid of the water... I just finished the first episode and they have all their powers, Emma as mourned and seemingly got over the whole no swim team stuff, Louis knows about them being mermaids, and the reason they went out to Mako is so Cleo could get more familiarized with the local wildlife in the water for her interview. So she's working at the marina now as well.
They also have their powers and are working on aiming them underwater.
End of episode 1.
I watched all thirteen episodes of it already, lol. Like I said, it's more of "inspired by" H2O than a real remake. It's a lot different.
Why would one remake a real series as animated at all?
Usually it's the other way around, and the anim version was only made because they didn't have the effects to make a real version possible.

The girls don't really (imo) but those around them do, Byron, their parents kinda, etc.
Hmmmm I am Predicting that if Serena isn't in season 3 and mimi, odina, zac and the newer mermaid. perhaps this may have something to do with zac and mimi.. we all know that Narissa was a powerful mermaid, so perhaps zac and mimi are as well. Perhaps they will have to come together to defeat the water dragon that the newer mermaid accidentally unleashes. they may hold the key... it could be that zac and mimi get real close like siblings should be. who knows, but i can't wait to see the other half. a recap is in order i think.
The animated H20 Mermaid Adventures is really good. Season 1 will have 52 episodes total.
That many? Source? Awesome, I don't think it's too awful for me to tune into at all. I wanna make a version of Cleo's tail in the animated series. :P
