Well that guy is outrageous if I may understate. I'm probably Captain Obvious for saying this, but I think this guy is looking for nothing short of intentionally making others feel like dirt. Hi guys I want yo warn you all about a guy called Sam Knight, I know a few of you have him as a friend. For the last few days this guy has been trying to get me to do a gig in Bournemouth with him at a "private house party"
It's been a very dodgy passing of information, he won't show me his face because he conveniently "lost his laptop" he refuses to give me the clients details but what really hit the nail on the head is when he showed me a picture of his "mertailor tail"
This tail does in fact belongs to and was made by Jacob John Chlebec, its the green tail he made. This guy told. Me it was made by mertailor and the picture was sent "by his ex". I don't know who this guy is or what his deal is but for everyone's own safety please don't book a gig with him or agree to meet up the guy is a nut job.
He is playing dumb to the fact he's been caught out saying he doesn't understand and is still trying to book me.

You didn't misread, Dylan. This guy named if he's who I think he is posts similar questions about being helpless and unable to walk or something about breathing. Sazan_heddo I think his name is. And he posts on MANY m pages of mermen. A bit creepy.
This is actually a relief to read. Both people were just following me. The screenshot are the content they are following. Sometimes I think I'm just being paranoid. It's just that I've had things that have made me uncomfortable sent in PMs and it doesn't help that these people were following my meraccount. Neither of these guys were named Sazan_heddo. Sometimes when I share stuff here I feel like it's not taken as seriously because I'm a merMAN, and not a merMAID. I know Mermaids probably get it worse, but that doesn't mean mermen don't get a bit of weirdness from time to time. I'm not going to lie. I don't get it often outside of being in my fins, but at the end of my senior year I guess someone saw my profile picture or something and messaged me some creepy stuff. The time for the message was prior to opening up about being a merman to anyone. However, I've been fortunate enough not to have but maybe one incident outside of being in my fins and all that happened was someone PMed me, and I ignored them. The thing that concerns me the most about the first guy is that other mers have him as their friend. It's possible he was accepted because people saw mutual friends or because maybe they actually know him. I don't know. I just thought it was concerning and wanted to let others know.
To be honest, I've actually accepted friend requests and follow certain people not because I want to be friends, but I've noticed that some people tend to collect pictures and share what other mers do as reposts. I follow those people and maybe even friend them because I want to keep an eye on what they post. Because of the attention I can attract, I'm very hypersensitive about the things I share online. I'm always watching, always watching.

When I first started sharing my merman activities, this guy started creeping up on me. I've been wary of people ever since.
Lilium, I'm sure that guy that guy is fully with it and just doing it without a care in the world. Dylan, Gordon is a creeper but don't let one person make you wary people. There is way more good people that probably looks up to you that hasn't said so. I got a niece who interested in mermaiding someday and knowing Gordon out there frankly scares me. It only took me 5 minutes of googling to find that he is in fact a pervert and he a problem on another forum. Google his name in " on both sides and check the 2nd page of google. People are talking on a baby page that he actually stealing pages from their album It's like he doesn't fear of being caught and becoming bolder and bolder. He need to be block by everyone. If your a minor, please report him so he eventually stop. I swear I'm not trying to scare everyone but I'm just very protective.
He does creep me out a lot. It might sound crazy, but even before I shared my first picture of me in my tail, I had a really creepy guy send me messages while I was still a minor in high school. I'll never understand the creepers on Facebook.
It doesn't sound crazy at all as some people goes beyond the line. Some people are legit curious but afraid to say something because of their peers. I know it's easier said than done but don't be wary of people. Just go out there and have fun without worrying about who around. Creepers on Facebook are actually easier to deal with as they hate the attention back from multiple at them most of the time. Plus they don't cover up their trails well and will stop instantly if you can figure out their real world state when they lie on their page. So just a heads up, the guy is at least a very creepy collector that is friends with a looooooot of the mermaid community. The guy sent me a request and i've been filtering friend requests pretty heavily, I don't accept just anyone.
Looking through his profile the pictures of him just like... I feel bad for judging but like... I can feel the sweaty heavy breathing on my neck. It looks like he's been uh... doing something when he took the first one I could see.
What concerned me is that he's constantly setting his profile picture and cover photo as various pictures of mermaids - including a few I recognised and msged already, and loads I don't recognise - alongside sexualised images (like playboy outfits, sexy santa girls, sexy photos of celebs), pregnant soap stars, and images of women who look.... rather young. And he likes lots of 'porn' pages etc.

I'm going to put a mervert alert here for anyone using Tapatalk to post their mermaiding video. I recently came across a discovery that any videos that seems to be uploaded using that app will appears on the Tapatalk's Vimeo page. Normally to me it that it shouldn't be a big deal if it was just that. I notice some of mernetwork videos (search Mernetwork on Vimeo to find all videos upload through that up there with the app) had likes by people who are liking nothing else but porn and mermaid videos. When I post videos from my phone, I'll upload it somewhere else and provide the link and not use Tapatalk. Thankfully the picture we are uploading aren't ending up anywhere else. I just feel this post is necessary so everyone here is informed about it.
Every now again there always seems to be some kind of strange person that pops up on my stuff. Unfortunately, it happens from time to time. The most unwelcomed people don't always make their presence openly known.
What happens when the original post of this thread gets too big? Like, there'll be plenty of merverts appearing here and there, so how will we keep track of JUST names? I don't need reasoning - I just need to know who to avoid and block !!!
Keeping track of names would actually make matter worse in my opinion. While it may sound nice to have a list, chances are they are aware of this forum and adding a list will only give them the hint to make another social media account.

Also just the list of names thing becomes an issue which was the reason why an original thread attempting to do this got taken down. We have to have evidence and reasoning otherwise it becomes a witch-hunt.
