Stonehenge is sun based, which is always in the same position based on earth's rotation around the sun. Earths precession wouldn't make any noticeable difference in our life time (26,000 years per rotation), but you are right, the moon is always in a different position when full, but it will NEVER be directly over the moon pool.Quote:

Yes, I meant that the full moon could not be directly overhead, much less every month like it's happening in the H2O/Mako universe.
It occurred to me when swimming during a full moon, and the moon was somewhere far away on the horizon.
So if you want to swim directly under the full moon somewhere, it'd have to be at the equator during the solstice like you said.
Right?

It may be August, but I have started preparations for one of my favorite holidays... Halloween! My wig came in the mail today, so I couldn't resist trying on my costume and taking a selfie! I am seriously considering wearing my tail when I sit out on the porch to pass out candy! :D

Went for my first swim in my Mahina merfin! I am definitely too out of shape to work it like I should. Gonna have to train and work up to it, I think. I did get to splash my husband with it, though! :D
Made a big decision last weekend....i decided not to do work on Saturday and Sunday anymore, meaning no more book keeping, and posting on the Dutch craigslist to sell as much stuff from around the house as i can, no more any stupid work i don't like to do.
After 2 years of working every day it's enough!
This weekend was the first weekend where i did whatever the h*ll i felt like and my goodness it felt awesome!
I finally got to sit down for hours and craft for my Fairy Me Etsy shop! Normally i only do that in between my boring work but now i could focus on it 100% and just enjoy it completly!
Yay!
Even made time to watch Labirynth, loved that movie!
Maybe tomorrow i will be able to finally after a year play some harp again!

I'm starting my practicum, which is the last thing I need to do before I can get certified, registered, and officially working as a Pharmacy Technician! After months of fighting with the program's administrators, who somehow lost, then found, then lost, then found all of my practicum paperwork, it's all ready to go! I'm IN, and I'm just waiting to get my first assignment from the practicum coordinators, which should be arriving within 24hrs. Finally! It's finally happening!

My back was in so much pain yesterday that I could barely move, but I made myself go down to the pool. Just being in the water made me feel so much better. I swam for nearly an hour and a half.
My face finally healed up after a severe boating accident two weeks ago. No more looking like I'm wearing badly applied purple eye shadow!! <3
Last monday I got my Tomnose made! :dance:

Well they make them in smaller sizes now if that makes a difference, I ordered a small and I am hoping I didn't need an extra small. I had never seen any actual "plugs" other than the sinus savers, good to know I have an option if they don't work out. I really needed them for the sunday meet but with shipping issues that may not be happening. Opposite of Happy Thread talk. :(
