:) Still getting used to it, but very happy with the results! Hehe.
Jadestone your tail looks beautiful! Unique from other tails I've seen as well, which can be hard to do. Props to you!
WOW Jadestone! That just is amazing!
With the fact I would be repeating myself from your own thread Jade, I will keep it simple here!
Bravicimo! Magnifique! Gorgeous, stunning, admirable, amazing, wonderful~ etc
I absolutely love it, Jade! The fluke looks gorgeous, and so do the scales!
One of the most beautiful tails I have ever seen! I'm really impressed w/ how the scales turned out, I plan on using that technique but I've never seem them looks that good. Seriously, it looks so realistic and the flow...it's so incredible! Reminds me of a goldfish or an h2o style tail. Wonderful job :)
Thank you!! 'Goldfish' was kind of what I was going for, so I'm glad it turned out :) I had side fins that would have made it more goldfish-y but I couldn't figure out how to attach them the way I wanted. Might try to add them later anyway :)
But yeah! I'm really happy with how the paint job turned out, even though I was kind of rushing it due to time constraints. The netting I used was pretty thick and had relatively big holes, which I think helped a lot. I also was using it more as a pattern as I still individually painted each scale (though if I had had access to an airbrush, I'm sure I would have used it. Painting that thing was a lot of time/work x_x )
But yay I am so happy, I have a working tail and I love it!! I can't believe it still! Hehehe.
well it definately is goldfishy ;) lol
I hope you figure out how to add fins, they would look amazing! Perhaps Little_Orca could help?
Do you mind if I ask you where u got the bag for your netting? I might do netting on my tail.
I'm probably getting a little annoying at this point :/ but I just have to ask you...
HOW ON EARTH DID YOU HIDE YOUR HEELS SO WELL?? lol
Hmm. I'm not sure where to get them. We won ours in a contest, I think? Actually, I can probably find the contest online...
Aha! They're called "ecobags." They look like this: http://ww1.prweb.com/prfiles/2012/09...ing%20Bags.jpg
I cut the netting away from the thicker handle and ended up with a nice rectangle of netting. It covered 1/4 of my tail, so I had to move it a bit but it worked wonderfully.
Also, I didn't do anything special for the heels! Just lucky pictures I think, in some they show up more. When I was making it I had thought about sewing a double layer of fabric inside the tail to go over the heels, actually, to help prevent wear, but I didn't end up doing it.
^ ThanX, Jade. i will look into that.
As for the heels, you are very lucky indeed lol
Here are a few of the photos from 2 sessions I did with my hubby as photographer (pretending to be Nigel Barker). This is my new Fish Butts tail :)

And Koral I JUST saw your tail on Facebook! I really don't care so much for the Oceankia monofin but WOW! That is STUNNING! It reminds me of like a butterfly and a fish. The colors compliment each other so nicely!
Thanks iblondie! I LOVE it sooo much and can't wait to try it on!
