My special fins bag arrived! I love it so much it fits my tail in it (THANK GOD. I never thought I would be able to find one that fit my tail, but thanks to Arion I was able to find this one!) And it even has my name embroidered in it:)
Update on "my nephew thinks I'm the Starbucks mermaid", he's started talking to any coffee cup that has the Starbucks logo as if it was me. I'm torn between cracking up and being weirded out.

I've finally earned back all of the money that I took out of my tail fund for the new apartment, and because my new roommates owe me money for the apartment... I'm back on schedule for saving up for my MerNation tail! (Hello, tax returns!)
There's not much better than coming home to a nice hot bowl of your ultimate comfort food after getting off the 11pm bus on a an uncharacteristically-cold-for-your-region day. ^_^
