Welp mergoggles didn't work so well. Worked great for 5 mins... When I took them off, lost the side that was leaking! Oh well, back to my normal goggles!

The hairclips I made were inspired by my neclace (got it for $1 at a thrift shop)
Sent from my shell phone under the sea!
Pretty! They'd look nice if you braided your hair and clipped them in
I got my Tia Dalma necklace today 💕http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...29e8eeadf7.jpg
Made a scale bracelet. Not perfect, but not bad for a first try. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...e15ef7d4f0.jpg

I bought the little starfish this morning, and made myself a ring :D
Thankyou :)
The starfish is glued on, so the string is for backup- plus it looks nice :)
Found some jewelry wire in the back of my craft closet and made myself stuff so here's the mermaiding-related jewelry I've made. Just posting stuff I made because it would take years to find every mermaid-themed thing I've amassed through the years, be it from thrift shops, discounts, gifts or garage sales. Ha. :/

Some of it is carved aluminum and I bought some neat star-shaped pearls and made earrings out of them :) Also have quite a few stud earrings but they looked weird in the pictures
Yes, I just bought the polished abalone and put it on a chain so it doesn't count as "handmade," but whatever :D
Does anyone use hair jewels [I think they're called that???]? They look pretty good in dry shoots but I'm apprehensive about using them in the water. They're really cute, though!
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll put a picture here. They thread into your hair and come like this:

Anyways, thanks for viewing! :)
Keeping myself busy while I wait for my tail to arrive.

That's so pretty, Raayvhen!

Finished my first mermaid hair clip :D This bugger is heavy but luckily it seems to stay okay in my thick hair, and should stay fine in water too. Learnt a few lessons along the way, including to not bother with some all-plastic hair barrettes I found (they are too fragile).
I made a chain link choker out of my scales, in rainbow of course!
