I've been thinking lately about a bioluminescent tail, ever since I learned that Special Effects hair dyes glow under blacklight. It would so impressive!
I think I might add some glow pigment to my tail down the road after it's done. Even if it's just speckles :)

Ugh! Sealing this monofin into my fluke halves is maddening! I really want to finish it before I leave for Kentucky Thursday morning! :gah: I only have tomorrow night to finish it AND pack!

Of course, once I complained, it all started to go smoothly! Now I have to attach it to the tail body and add scales to complete the transition. But I'm using my prototype monofin and flukes I don't care for, so it will be changed out once I get back. I doubt I'll have time to add my side fins, too, but maybe I'll take them and some dragonskin and make it work. I'm too close to stop now!

Hey Pearlie, did you take in the dummy a little for a tight fit or make it exactly to the dimensions of your wrapped legs?
I wrapped the Saran Wrap around me pretty tight! And I am so glad I did! The silicone tail fits so nice and snug, there isn't ANY bagging and or gapping! I'll be swimming in it this weekend!
