Arion if it's of any use, like if it'd be cheaper or easier you could fly via Manchester and so fly the rest of the journey with me, or try to match up our connection at the other end lol if you wanted to fly from Manchester you could always come hang out in Manchester or Blackpool for a day or so. I don't know if Vaughan will be going or not but if he is he'll probably be doing that :) same offer stands for kitty if she sees this or any other European Mers ^_^ would be cool to all fly together

YAY!!! That's awesome!
NC MER-MANIA UPDATE (09/19/15):
Admittedly I got side-tracked by that little thing we call reality. I have seven kids and when one gets sick, it makes the rounds! I'll try to get the website and a ticketing system in place by the end of next week.
We have the Deep Diving Well at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on January 2-3 from 11am-5pm. We will also have limited use of the shallow recreational pool for a few hours each day. Security, a lifeguard, a few tables, and use of a classroom are all included, thus far. As there has been an interest in vendors, I will be talking with the GAC about the particulars next Wednesday. At this time we are planning a public "Swim With a Mermaid" event, a couple of workshops, and space for vendors. The GAC is part of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex and is run by the city of Greensboro, therefore they will be closed on January 1st. They may have a concession stand open on the premises, for those who want lunch or a snack.
We also have an evening event at the Wiseman Aquarium at the Greensboro Science Center on the night of January 2nd. There will be some sort of mixer Friday night January 1st. I am still working on the details. The option of a Sunday dinner is not out of the question, at this point. I have a few leads.
I will post hotel information in the next few days. Yes, I found a few that were close to $100 but by the time you add in wifi, parking, and the like they started to get pricey. If $119/night is fine with the group we will have the Sheraton Greensboro as our preferred hotel. I am working on the availability of a shuttle between the Sheraton and GAC, though they are less than 2 miles from one another.
HiNaiadVictoria no its not free but very affordable he is (Dan) working on hotel/events pricing now so far might come out to $119.00 hotel events i believe are separate but cheap. you will love it scroll up for more details he posted earlier, and he will keep updating this coming week . hope you will come
Oh my gosh! This looks beautiful! I would love to go! So far away, though! I wish someone would do something like this for New Jersey mermaids!
Hi Mernaid Kali its nit to far, the plane ride goes guickly, im going from NYC, and yes I was just last nite telling my hubby we should have one here too, maybe we can get together and come up with an idea. If Dan don't mind but we do hsve mer friends mertuos here st Coney Island, uou should come
