NOW it's mermaid Malena's tail and Hannah's tail too! this woman is so stubborn!
Looks like that etsy user is stealing more then mermaid photos. I've seen those cosplay before as well
I managed to contact Hannah and Mike I hope this will end soon!
I don't think any of the pictures belong to her, she just photoshops the hell out of them.
After this comment I went to google a bit more and you are definitely right. Found this one, which is used in her etsy to sell the Harley Quinn costume: http://andyrae.storenvy.com/products...ource=Facebook
I thought I'd contact this Andy Rae to show her how her picture which she is selling herself is used in this other site.
I can't find the etsy. All I'm seeing is the instagram link and they don't have a link in their description

I love how her attitude towards this is 'oh I'll just crop and change the hue of the photo and no one will notice!' She has to realise by now the mermaids are on to her and are on the attack and these waters are no longer safe to swim in. I feel like just saying to her 'well if you made tail 'like' these ones (which she claimed in messages to me yesterday) then you should have no problems using photos of your own god damn work instead of stealing photos!!!'
Take a picture in one, prove you have it.

I love how people think that if its on the internet then it is free use for them. Uh, no. Only if there is an explicit creative commons license with it and even then you need to give credit where credit is due (especially because that is the right thing to do.) Bleh.
Speaking of stolen photos
The princess company I once worked for was so shady! My boss used photos of an awesome elsa cosplayer on the site as if she was an actual girl working for him and wearing a costume the company owns. (She actually hand made her dress and lives in Canada.)When I asked him about it he claimed a seamstress from another state was making him that costume and she sent him the photo. So there's two different people using this girl's photo as if they owned it. I looked up the cosplayer on DA and her photographer to let them both know. I never told them I was making a mermaid tail either because I could see them tying to make it looked like I worked the mermaid for them by asking me to wear it to on of their events to help me get mermaid work but then make it look like I'm mermaiding was an option for their company or use my image without credit.
Well, there's a new photo on that listing and price has come down like a lot, there also appears to be one very praising review for her, suddenly. I checked her sales like couple days ago and as far as I noticed there weren't that kind of a sale, seems very clearly that the seller has made a listing for someone to "buy" for giving her a praising review. I don't have any proofs of course but that's how it feels like for me, these are just my speculations.

Oh, clicked again this listing as I wanted to post it here, price had changed from 250 usd to 300 usd in one minute. She is either scammer or just a young one who has read everything about tailmaking from the internet and decided to be a professional tail maker immediately. Dreaming is ok as far as it doesn't involve other people's money.
Well at least it seems that she's using her own pictures (that are faaaaaaaar distant from the ones she has stolen!) and for that price I doubt that someone would ever give a cent for a tail that clearly still needs some improvement
There still seems to be option for silicone one too (on the options for that same listing) which is 1000 usd. Option for silicone is under "select fabric".
