This is my inspiration for my tail; blacks, dark blues and silvery whites. I love her interpretation, I did ask for her to carry the black a little farther in two spots but that's it.
I did a get a couple of upgrades so it costs a bit more but I think in the long run I'll be happier. Damn my love of giant flowy flukes!

My tail is currently in the works from Purple Mermaid Studios and Nerissa is really great about staying in touch :) She's trying a new scale technique on mine too!!! The paint wasn't quite dark enough,so we had a minor set back but no bigee...AND she's making me a dorsal which she's never done before! I really am so very happy I chose her to do my first tail!

For now, dorsal fins are only $15 extra. I'll most likely up the price in the future, but for now I'm keeping it low since I've only done one.

Annnd another finished tail! I love how much easier it is to blend colors now that I have an airbrush/spray gun!
