I have my YouTube channels set to approved comments only. It's just not worth it to me to deal with crap like this!
ours are set to that too but you still see the comments. and when they make the comment even if it's not approved, their friends see it and can reply.
You mean a comment that I screen and don't approve, so it never shows up in my video, is visible to anybody who follows activity by that commenter? That sounds like an unfortunate loophole. But then, the comment never shows up on my page, so the worst that can happen is the jerky spammer commenter and his jerky spammer friends can snicker amongst themselves, right? (It is, of course, annoying to have to read disgusting comments at all.)
I think I'll just disable comments if I do YouTube videos. That's ridiculous and don't want to deal with idiots and their drama
