So yesterday I had my first dry photoshoot with one of my mers in training! It was my only chance to showcase both of my tails and boy was it hot outside! (Of course my friend said she's already made a Mernetwork account but she refuses to tell me the username so I don't know if she's joking around or not.
All of these photos are unedited. I'm wearing my second tail which uses a modified Mahina Merfin and Mermaid Noelle is showcasing my first tail (which is now retired) which has a pair of fins strapped together.
While we were prepping my boss took a few candid photos. My favorite is this one:

After makeup was applied we donned our tails and began posing! It was a new experience for all of us because we'd never posed in tails before and my boss had never taken photos of mermaids before.

Adelaide Mer-Olympics were held on the weekend and of course lots of photo taking. Just thought to post a couple of pictures which I liked.
Since I'm a floaty mer, the steps were used to hold myself down lol...kinda worked.

So my FinFun tails arrived just in time for our beach trip. (I ordered them not thinking they would come in time, but was so excited that they did). I did two photoshoots of my daughter over the last 3 days..and it was a challenge for sure. It is not easy to do a shoot alone and at the end a huge wave came and washed over everything and all my props..LOL. But the photos are so good. I really had to narrow it down to these to post ;). These new finfun tails photograph so nicely. I made the crown and tops.

I love Northern Europe. Scotland, Norway, Finland, Iceland...so many beautiful lakes and shores.

Did a quick "photo shoot" with Mermaid Nautia when my tail came. It was great practice for getting the tail on and off! Got it much higher and much less wrinkly the second time around today, and down to only fifteen minutes total change time. c:
