Yay! A picture including the whole tail! I have so much respect for everyone who is able to hold up the fluke for photo's and such. My belly, back and calves hurt for two days after this photoshoot! (Totally worth it though ;) )

I just don't know how to get the photos smaller and get them to fit here... So I just post links to my photo, which was taken about a week on the shore of my home river here in Lapland, there were like -10 celsius and it was a lil bit cold but hey, I'm an arctic mermaid :D And then there's a video from few days ago in the other link of me on the other shore of river, with a lovely husky dog <3 :) Warmer day, it was like +1 celsius so I was able to be there over half an hour, very nice photo shoot!

Wow, Nerissa you look beyond stunning. I have been to Lapland and loved it but alas I never to got see the northern lights. I'd love to go back!
Thank you! Well, those northern lights have been edited in to that photo, but they are from photos taken a day before our photo shoot :) But we have had amazing ones in past few weeks because there has been these huge eruptions in the sun, they were very visible and beautiful even in the city area, but of course they are most beautiful when you go in the middle of no where ( which is like 10 kilometers from the town... :DDD ) and you don't have all the city lights disturbing the sky view
I was in a small town called Hetta when I came to Finland which would have been perfect to see the lights if they were showing. I dd see a lot of reindeer though :)
Breathtaking photo, Nerissa! Very artistic editing - love it. Wow, you are one hardy mermaid. I live in frigid Wisconsin, but I wouldn't have the stamina to roll around in the snow in my tail!

Beautiful shoots Nerissa! And oh my gosh how I love malamutes <3 I did a shoot with four very lively ones last year for my degree project lol. They're so big and SO FLUFFY <3 and they're such huge characters aren't they? lol
and they must make strong and hardy mermaids in the artic :P kudos for handling the cold so well! You looked beautiful! xx

Thank you so much of your feedback! <3 I'll send a pic also when I get the photos from the husky sessions :D The best photo of those is going on the finnish diving magazine, Sukeltaja (diver). And they are going to make a double page story of me :) ( cause well I also dive a lot, and yes, in Lapland and yes, water is cold :D Summertime between +6-20 celsius and wintertime it's usually always about +4 in the bottom, but might be +5-6 near the surface just under the ice)
Oh and Aiko is soooo huge character, that's why I like him so much! My lil fluffy puppy! Well, it's actually not mine, it's my friends who is also seen in the video and she has three other dogs too cause she is a pro dog trainer, but Aiko is my favorite <3 It's already like 3 years old but with me it is always like a puppy and it loves to mess around with me :D
You should send your pics to the guys in Nightwish! You could be on a T-shirt for Turn loose the Mermaids!

Arion, you look fantastic! That's got to be one of my favourite photos yet (from anyone!) You're blended so well into the background and it doesn't look silly like a lot of photomanips do (and the background itself is lovely!). Gorgeous!

Fifi! It was such an amazing experience meeting you and your children! I just got home and am still walking on Sunshine from how wonderful it was even though it was so short. You very rarely meet people you feel such an instant connection with! And those shots are beyond amazing!
