Wow, after reading this; I really scared my fins off O_o I'll try and wait afther sending her an email asking if she has any updates of my tail (I email her once every 2-3 weeks, if i have questions about the process of my tail- nothing that isen't answered yet). But now I feel extremely guilty :'(
So everyone happened to order seashell bras, and at the same time? That's pretty cool! Seeing them all together I'm all :drool: Wish I could afford one right now. I'll just have to save up so I can give her all my money again :P
I ordered mine back when I ordered my tail. c: I can't WAIT for it though!!!

I facepalmed at the second one truly. For one, she put her number out, two it doesn't matter the age. Three, if people would read the faq they'd know there was a way to order it, and how much it would cost... Gotta love people

Is the Merbellas Etsy site down for everyone, or is my system glitching? I thought perhaps they're catching up on orders, so they took it down? I just wanted to peruse.

I noticed that earlier and just assumed they were doing maintenance on the shop. Perhaps not.
They are prepping to move to a bigger home (which means bigger and better studio space ) soon. Raven hasn't confirmed with me why the Etsy is down, I'll try and follow up with her next time I catch her online, but it's likely!
Yay! Bigger space! :-) That's kind of awesome that she's able to move forward like that.

146 days and all I have to do is WAIT (I'm sorry guys... I can't take it much longer :'( I want to go swimming in my tail now!! :'(
I checked the emails. Ariel, you asked to have stuff about your tail changed after you got your pics on day 120 (and haven't explained that here). That takes time and bumps you back in the line. People who approve their colours etc are going to have their tail finished before yours. Changing colours takes time (especially since Florida has been dealing with loads of rain and wind) and you wanted your seams changed, which means taking the tail apart and putting it together again. I understand you really want your tail, and it sucks waiting.... but if you didn't approve the tail and she has to repaint it and re-seam it... well, that takes time, and weather sets it back too.
I know, I know... :( But after the 120 days I asked for pictures myself and she said she stil had to paint the other side of the tail. I understand all of this but I'm getting a bit 'meh' about it. (I have Asperger, and love to have everything planned, or at least looking foreward to certain dates etc) So this is a bit hard for me :( I don't know WHEN the tail wil be finished, so I'm just paddle around to nowhere.Quote:

Yeah, she only paints one side of the tail until you approve the colours. Like literally, if she did the whole tail and you didn't like it then it's a waste of time and paint. Right now, it's super storming there. Loads of rain and humidity. Hence getting caught up on accessory orders since silicone won't cure and she can't go outside to paint. (Also why they'll be moving to a bigger, more ventilated, space)
Jeez the way Florida looks, it seems like she's gonna be washed away! I hope Tyler and Raven keep themselves safe! It looks like a horrible flood AND Tornado warnings all over the place. :(
I know how raven is feelin with all the rain. Being here in belize its been a constant touch and go storm and all of it hits florida head on :( hope they are doing ok.

Hmmm...about 2 weeks ago I emailed Raven and asked her to spice up my design with hightlights or lowlights or something when she paints it. Its 20 days till my quoted time frame is up. Do you think that will add extra time on my tail?
See that's why I like Michigan. The only thing we have to worry about are blizzards and such, which still aren't so pleasant but at least they usually aren't deadly.

Just out of curiosity, is Raven super biast or picky of whom she choses to share pictures of? Like Isabella, Iona, and Alexis have been shared and yrt I thought perhaps with some of the pictures I've taken with turtles or sharks may appear as well but not even a peep :/ I'm just wondering if she looks for more professional shots or does she just pick certain mers to share on her page? I really dont want to sound like a jealous guppy, I'm just curious..
I don't know of it, but I guess you could ask her if she could share something from your page. To me it just seems very random.
No she's not biased she's busy. Lol a lot of the time it's me tracking down stuff to re-share. You only see a few pages when logged in as the page and looking through timeline cuz you can't add to interest as a page. Half the stuff she doesn't see. Usually she just logs on and whatever pops up first gets shared.
The Ariel tail and bra are GORGEUS! Like, i'm crying right now... I would love a top like that if she's making more of them <3 Like really; i'm jelous of the mermaid wo's getting that masterpiece!
Oh and another newsflash; i've sold/shipped my fabric tail today. Feeling a little bit sad, so...tail-less, but this was the only way of getting some extra money for my New tail shipping (wich i still don't know how much)

you wont. It's great. Also, adult toy cleaner works wonders on tails too
