I received a new sketch from her on the 7th Jan. I think this will be our last adjustment before the design is perfect.
Even though it's delayed communication, I have been so unbelievably impressed with her sketches! It was exactly what I had pictured in my head.
It will be a dream come true when it arrives!

She named it Spectrolite, after the gemstone that has the same iridescent purples, blues and oranges.
I'm so in love with it.
We are just tweaking it a bit to remove the oranges from being block colours on the sides of the body and instead gradually phase them into stripes elongated down the back.

Sorry I dropped off the radar everyone! Here's a quick update post-Mermania!
My tail is wonderful in the water, but I have crazy foot blisters haha. It is SO sparkly. Like really...if you're thinking about investing in the glitter top coat, do it. All the colors are extremely metallic. I took it flying and stored it in the overhead bins 4 different times with no hassle from anyone. I do feel bad for the Charlotte hand-check security though....mine was like the 8th or 9th tail she had to do in the past couple days. I'll be posting my xmas unboxing video once I can edit it...I apologize in advance for the poor video quality. The lighting wasn't bright enough and m dad's camera is old. I'll follow up with a better Merbella's Experience Review video. :) Here are a couple pics from the festival! <3

I hope to get my tail before may 20th. I'll have my birthday swim that day and it's the last day I can swim at my local pool before it's closing for renovation. :(
