Also, Raven let me know they're changing internet providers because they've been recently having loads of issues. She's managing a lot of the online stuff right now from her phone instead until everything gets sorted out this week. So you may not get a prompt reply from her etc until it's sorted out. It took her a day to send me a message because it wouldn't go through!

^ when I saw that notice from Raven I laughed so hard. I've never heard if anyone only measuring 1 leg before.

My own personal guess is someone WANTED it neoprene lined and paid more to have it neoprene lined, but with the detailed fluke (maybe due to buoyancy comfort, mostly doing outdoor?) I dunno. Just guessing entirely. :P

It's driving my crazy how great the color looks on that tail. I have a hunch on what the construction of the hybrid might be but wow I can't wait till Raven lets you tell us!
I'm so giddy too...I keep hitting refresh on instagram hoping a photo of my tail will be next

I think I just inked. That looks sooooo beautiful...Oh heres to hoping this is like the new 'basics' and it'll be under 3,000 and pry more than 1,000, but YES!!! Because I love love love the performance scales.

This is so pretty! The fluke is similar to mine...I LOVE the raised ridges!

gosh darn my small hips...other than that I could have the tail =[ She said she would be willing to change the measurements if no one buys it. If not I'm sure she will be making more =] and that tail will go to one lucky fish!

What are the measurements anyway?

I have to say, I like this fluke much better than the other basic fluke--the lines on it go back to the base instead of meeting in the middle.

That's the same fluke design Ariel Starfish got, isn't it? Or am I making things up >.<

Sooo...exciting news!!!!! Talked to the husband, and the measurements of the tail were the same as mine (one inch off in the waist <I'll stop eating so much ice cream, better join the accountability thread> and knees but she said it stretches)...I now own a beautiful galaxy themed merbellas tail!!!! I haven't breathed since 2 pm. Yay!!! Can't wait to try it on and go for a swim. :D I think it is the same fluke design as Ariel's. :) O my neptune, I can't believe it actually happened, I guess it's a good thing I didn't get the basic tail three weeks ago. So much adrenaline...now I just need to mermaid party as much as possible to pay off the card I paid with. :-)

But what i still don't get about the tail : is it a performance tail with neoprene inside or? Or a performance tail with a basic fluke?

Its a performance tail with a basic fluke. So it does not have the neoprene lining on the inside. She said extra fins could be added to it because it doesnt have the lining. And the fluke is lighter like the textured flukes on the basic tails.

I believe your tail was just finished Ariel and you should be hearing from Raven soon. She was working away on it yesterday and told me! :)

I'm getting so anxious about my bracers. I sent them back May 27th and it's July 16th now, she said she was painting them last week. Hopefully they'll come in the mail soon.

The texture of the scales are the basic look, but with no neoprene on the inside, making it a 'full silicone'. And the fluke is a competitor monofin in the basic fluke but with ariel starfishes scalloped design. :-D

YES! I got a replay from Raven last night! :D She was going to send a picture of the finished seams an then, hopfully my tail gets shipped!! :D :D AAAARGH <3 :yay:
