Thanks guys, i had another shoot yesterday of my white tail out of the water using a slow shutter. A slow shutter blurs anything that is moving and focuses on things that are still, we took my photos at a high tide with lots of waves so the water looks amazing! I cant wait till my photographer gives them to me.
Also have loads more of the underwater set, these were just unedited samples.

I just had my first photo shoot today :yay: It's nothing too fancy, and no underwater shots (Water was FREEZING, but I got in it in spots). Let me know what you mers think

AniaR (maybe its just me) but i think that you look somewhat like drew barrymore in the profile pictures....and it looks gorgeous.

So excited to show you guys these! Lake Chelan had it's first Pirate Festival, and I got to attend as a mermaid for the Jade Dragon Pirates with Oceana. Greg Amptman was there as well and the mermaids got to shoot with him in the beautiful clear blue (although freezing) lake! The pirate in one picture is Mister Mac! Here are a few pictures! Sorry they're so huge, the my browser and the uploader are fighting ;)

It was Crescent Beach in White Rock B.C. Canada. Sooo Gorgeous. I was so thrilled when the sun peaked out for a bit!

Heres a semi-self shoot.. I had a helper.. my boyfriends 67yr old mom.. I love Her!!
I set up tripod and the shot.. told her what I wanted and got into position. She did an awesome job for me...
I edited the photos.. I like theway it looks b/w with pops of color.. not seen anyone else do that.. But I am sure now that its on FB also.. there will be certain copiers... OH Well...

Love that tail, Nerine! and i also love that way of adding color to all the mermaidy things in the pic too! Hopefully not too many copiers, but that's what you gotta expect these days on the internet :/
