the girls are currently in Minnesota speaking at the funeral or their friend they lost last week. please give theme some time to mourn as this friend was very close and passed suddenly.Quote:

They haven't made any public posts about this.
I've just had a good look as I wanted to leave a condolences message on their Facebook page after reading it here. I don't want to do it, though, if they're not ready to take it public.
It's hard enough losing someone you love - even worse when it's sudden and unexpected, because there's a far greater element of shock. That takes a long time to get through, so I wouldn't be expecting anything from them anytime soon.
My heart goes out to them both. ❤️

they made posts in their groups, the public one and the private one. and like I said, I posted it here as soon as it happened.
I could only find two groups on Facebook, and neither are public - they're both closed groups. One is the pod squad group, and the other was the finned folk group for tail owners.
I can't find anything on their page or website either.
I know it doesn't really matter - it would just have been nice to be able to leave a comment. (It's been over ten years since I lost a close friend in a car crash, and I still remember that phone call vividly. I wouldn't wish that sort of thing on anyone. It does hit a raw nerve when you see it happen to someone else.)
Anyway...
I really hope they're doing ok and getting the time and space they need, and I'm sure they're getting plenty of love and support from everyone around them. The world really sucks sometimes.

there's just not much to say until different stages are met. I mean the tail was made but made poorly with the help of assistants and had to be remade totally and updates were given when they were available. it totally sucks and there were two people who ended up in that situation. All is well the tail is done it looks great and I am sure the twins will do whatever they can to make up for the long wait
Yes, plus it came out pretty bad ass :3 It looks like they've been getting quite a bit of work done as of late as well!! I have a top from them coming in soon That I'm pretty excited about also. They have a very distinct style which is what I love about them. It's just disheartening to hear that it took a fuss to get them to update someone, since I'm very fond of open communication with a custom order like this.
I dont think there was really any fuss, there just werent updates so they only replied when there were. And there were 2 people affected by it but generally the wait times arent as long. Plus they have 2 people added to the team now ready to answer emails!
Well that's extremely reassuring :)

I'd like to point out that two spellbound tails that were ordered a month later will arrive before we've even gotten an update on the the mythic scale tops we ordered XD they don't even use silicone. I know they're like doing all the mythic stuff at once, but alot of people have already received full tails. Still zero mention of the tops.
Mertailor already has the production/storage space and a production team he needs to produce more tails faster; which provides its own challenges, i.e. quality issues. Plus that's a full silicone tail, not a multimedia tail of silicone, neoprene, *individually hand sewn* resin scales and a zipper. They've repeatedly have said they're doing batches and they'll all be shipped out within July. They're trying to match tops to same ordered-by tails but most will probably end up shipping separately.Quote:

Weren't they working in color groups? didn't the gold and pink already go out? I really don't know since much hasn't been said in regards to the tops at all.
As far as I know, they were working in groups..that is what they said. However, I got Unicorn Pink and have not received notification yet, so no I dont think they have all gone out.Quote:

They're all out of the studio currently; for the next week or two weeks. I know they just finished Jess's new clownfish tail.
But yeah, I just can't shake how much the Mythics pushed back silicone orders. :/
Does not matter now... season is over as the lake has flipped.
Been three seasons now...... hopefully it won't be four.

I just read through the thread and was thinking "mer definitely has some patience going one." Bryn recently posted on the pod squad group page that both she and Abby are taking some time off. Periodically, they check in on statuses of where they are in regards to tails, the warehouse, etc. I'm certain they haven't intentionally forgotten about you, but given their workload, it might seem that way. Fins crossed that yours is being close to finished
