Awesome job! That fluke is such a close match for the H2O fluke! Where did you buy your fiberglass? I used shell shock for my last mold and I'm looking to try something different. Is fiberglass tough to work with?
you can get fiberglass at boating supply stores. It really makes the whole building smell like strong chemicals for days! Not good if you have kids.

This tail has tiny 1/4" or less scales. They are already ready also. So I may do a test production of this whole tail soon.

The new fluke might be a bit big for smaller mers. It measures about 30" from top to bottom and about 40" across at widest points. The monofin inside it will be about 24x24 and semi rigid. The rest on the sides and bottom will be flowy about like this

wow, thats even wider than my monster fluke... at its widest its 38"....
The Merdiva Basic fluke is about 30x40 too but reverse. 30 wide and 40 up and down.
I didn't measure how long mine is at the longest point... kinda scared to....lol
For giving away the second tail you should do a youtube contest. The entrees should make a video on how they would use the tail or what they would use it for!! It would be soooo awesome!!!
