Congrats Pearlie Mae! You make silicone tail making look so effortless, but I know it takes a lot of time especially gluing each individual scale.
I am really happy because I spent all weekend making an animation that is due tomorrow. I had underestimated how long it would take me to make so I was getting very worried that I wouldn't finish it. Then Youtube didn't want to upload my video so finally I figured that logging out and logging back in would fix that error I kept getting. So here is my animation!

This was such a special moment. I made this commission for a bride-to-be back in May for her October wedding and she just sent me the photos a few days ago of the groom's reaction to seeing it for the first time. I'm forever grateful for the opportunity she gave me to see his response as though I was there! She was such a delight to work with, too. I definitely teared up when I saw these. Oh, my heart. <3

Yay! My Amazon shipment is arriving today! I ordered a clay texture sheet and some circle clay cutters. I'm going to use the texture sheet to give the smooth/flat parts on my fluke sculpt some texture. I'm using the clay cutters to make a new scale sheet because my fiberglass scale sheet is too warped and won't lay flat so the silicone doesn't cure at an even thickness. It's a bit of a set back but I'm excited to make a new scale sheet! It will be easier than the first one because the first one was the adhesive foam sheets and the modified paper punch.

I'm one HUGE step closer to my mermaid hair, thanks to an AMAZING friend of mine who came over and bleached it for me! I love it so much, it's going to be difficult to go lighter! (*^.^*)
