I was thinking the same thing; hopefully those golden flecks will catch the light nicely! :pearl:

Now that is kind of neat looking! Like a goldfish :)
Went swimming at the beach today - first time in public! I got a lot of weird looks from passers-by, and an ogle from a couple of kids in a boat ;)
Image heavy, sorry~
I increased the contrast and upped the colours a little to try to get the tail closer to how it looks in real life. This thing glows with colour when it's in the water!
I'm making weird faces in a lot of these but the tail looks nice at least, haha.

Those colors are gorgeous!
The tail matches so well with that water color. Not in a bad way, just in a "the coloration of the photograph is very appealing" way.
I concur! I can almost smell the water when looking at those photos! You legitimize wearing an unmodified bra with a tail, those rough, scalloped scales and ventral fins look very realistic (especially underwater), and that fluke is very impressive! :mermaid kiss:
Attachment 20011Me in my first Latex Tail. I made the mistake of using ALEX Plus, but wasn't a bad first ;D
Thanks guys! I chose the colours so they'd match my favourite types of places to swim - mostly lakes and lagoons and places that don't necessarily have bright blue water :P
The fins were my own design, and I'm really happy with how they turned out.
I'm only wearing a bra because my bikini top broke, but I agree, it sort of works! I definitely prefer understated tops :)
Melaina, what kind of monofin is in your tail? I love the way it stands up.
It's definitely a competitor.
That's what I thought. It seems most of their clients get competitors in their fins. I'll be doing the same.
@Mermaid Melaina - And you don't even need an umbrella on hot sunny days...
Melaina the colors on your tail are the prettiest I have ever seen and that is probably one of the prettiest tails ever!!! It's on par with some of Hannah's tails for me!!!! :swoon:
I agree! Though I also want to point out how lovely Tahia's first try turned out! The pseudo-rainbow effect on the fluke is gorgeous! :mermaid kiss:
Yep, competitor :)
Wow, thanks! What a compliment! I agree with you, but I'm biased of course ;D
Haha, that shot was of me losing balance and smacking myself in the head with the fin. It definitely would work as a makeshift umbrella! :D
I haven't been very active on here but I thought I would share my tail journey. No idea if I'm posting correctly :S but here goes.

Ooo! I love how in some shots, you are wearing a tank top and not a bra top.
I'm really shy about flashing my bits, so I have been looking at other options besides a mermaid bra.
Yeah I mainly wear tank tops over bikini tops. I have a bit of flesh to cover! And I wear netting over the top to hide my arms and stop sunburn!
They all look nice, and it is nice to watch the tail "evolve". The finale looks especially cool; congratulations on being invited to be a tank mermaid! :mermaid kiss:
Is that a fabric tail?
It is gorgeous!
