Kekeke! First pic has mer crack!!!
Are they your parents?
Very lucky to have a beach on your doorstep, should swim everyday!
-
Oh my no!! I'd be worried if they were my parents :') hahaha...the man is EXTREMELY gay and the lady is a dear friend of mine. They're friends from a Witch Camp I go to annually and live nearby :)
Yes I would go swimming everyday if I didn't live in a place with such chaotic weather ;) one minute it's hot, the next freezing cold with thunder storms!! haha
-
Swim in the warm spots... Hehehe! And btw, gay people can have kids too ya know.
So you're Wiccan? Sounds interesting and cool. I was class mates once with a Wiccan boy. He's now grown up and works for New Idea magazine as a medium. Has a page all to himself in that magazine.
-
Noo not Wiccan, some don't realise that Wicca is a very complex religion which requires a LOT in order to actually be labelled as a Wiccan.
I'm just a simple Pagan Witch :)
And yes Gay people can and do have children, but this man in particular hates Children of any sort! Calls them Gremlins paha.

Nice! Better get back to thread or admins will beat us with their sticks!

Ooooh I'm glad you went off topic Ariel! I hadn't seen that tail and it is GORGEOUS...!
-
@ Merman Vaughan, you look stunning in your tail! :D And my god am I jelly of your own private beach! :p btw, I'm thinking of getting a magic tail for our trip to greece in september, cince I won't get my neoprene/silicone tail with me. I'm to terryfied for losing it!
-
Aww thanks! :) I love my little beach and I live on the coast so in total we have around 10 beaches littered across the area :) plenty of private spots no one goes to!!
I'm thinking of making a few new skins for my tail to use with the magictail monofin...I'm stuck to fabric for now as I have no money for silicone lol!! I always admire your stunning Merbella's tail though! :) and can't wait to see how your tail comes along.
I wouldn't want to take a silicone tail with me far either tbh! I'd be far too scared of it getting lost or breaking. If you are thinking of getting a cheaper to take I really recommend magictail! :) I've had mine for three years now! still going strong, and they're some of the best looking fabric tails out there in my opinion.
-
Just beware, if you're tall like nearly 6 ft, it won't fit you lengthwise. But you can always chop off the fluke like I did and sew in extra fabric.
-
Thanks, Ariel! That's my employee, Waldo T Grat Bear. He's actually quite a curmudgeon, and he hates water. (Loves beer and pizza.)
-
Well, you are a very handsome merman, Vaughan, and very blessed to live so close to such lovely waters! As for the chaotic weather...well, you did say that you lived near a lot of witches...lol
-
Thankyou MermaidMichelle! :) hehe yes well...Witches may be something to do with it, although most locals blame the odd Merman often spotted swimming along the rivers and the beaches ;)

next tail (3d scale krait) is finished. tried it out today.
putting it on (smuggled it underwater into the pool and then "quickly" squirmed inside when the guards weren't looking
Attachment 21179
it was quite heavy, but my hope it would act like a millstone, drag me down and let me slither over the poolbottom like a benthos shark were dashed!
http://youtu.be/osQJ2DrwGAA
it was, just as expected, a whole world of drag though.
so while nice looking, probably not for swimming :p
now debating whether to make my 3d white dragon tail as planned, or just concentrate on tails I can speedily swim in.
(not that my normal fabric tails are that much faster :p seems like re-inventing the tail-wheel didn't work out quite as I'd hoped, ha.)
-
It looks cool regardless!

Indeed it does! The wider monofin gives one more push (my first monofin was pretty narrow, like yours) and will help you swim more speedily, so perhaps if you had that as the tip of your white dragon tail (with just a little taper in the centre)....

I know it's a bit rough, but it's not bad for a handmade tail! I'll probably be making another one eventually, but I needed one to practice in until then. :)

That is AMAZING for a handmade tail! It is nice and shiny and the scale pattern works well! :mermaid kiss:
