I've been bitten by the inspiration bug! Prepare yourselves for a flood of new scale designs!
Today I learned that I will get to be a magazine editor! I had been wanting to be the magazine editor of an association I am in for years, but they just never changed editors. Finally, when the editor wanted to quit, another lady quickly claimed spot as editor. Me being younger and newer I just kept quiet and figured maybe someday I would have my chance. Surprisingly my chance came very quickly!
The first issue I will be doing will be the January 2016 issue. I am excited, but also extremely nervous to put together a whole magazine and orchestrate getting ads, articles, and pictures! Yay!
Any larpers here? Hehe I am super excited cause a local larp group. (WayPoint larp for any of you michiganders out there) said I could be a mermaid npc during the summer larp season! I am so excited!! THEY EVEN HAVE A LAKE, AN ACTUAL LAKE FOR ME TO SWIM INNNNN

I have a happy moment! My fiance is the best... he went out to Happy Hour with coworkers, and brought home a bunch of mermaidy schwag for me! He said they were giving free stuff from various breweries with purchase so he ordered Coronado Brewing Co, because as you can see, they have a lovely mermaid on the logo. He brought me a keychain, a can cozy, a lip balm and a pint glass with the lovely mermaid on it. I don't drink beer, so I'm glad he did this for me.

Thanks! It is a magazine for the United Peafowl Association. My #1 obsession in life is peafowl (peacocks) and I got my first peafowl in 2009. Since then I have always looked at the association's magazine and thought it was rather plain for being about such a beautiful bird, and I wanted to be able to improve it. I would try to send in photos and articles for the magazine when I could. Now the association really needs the magazine to look good because we are losing members. Currently to see the magazine you have to be a member of the United Peafowl Association, but I think it will be helpful in gaining members if we make one issue available to everyone online so that people can see what they will be getting when they become a member. This first issue I am working on will probably not be the one I post online, but maybe next issue I will see about making it for everyone to view.Quote:

A friend of mine is back from the air force for the holidays. We just finished up a pokemon battle marathon.
