Gorgeous colors!!! I absolutely love them all!! Have you already decided on a fluke design?? :)
Yes, I have hundreds of designs, but I get very afraid to do haha I never carved a fin, any advice? on measures or something? thank u LOTUS
Starting with Plastalina or some other sulfur-free clay is great for making the fluke mold! Then, build a small enclosure out of something disposable (I used foam boards), and pour some Shell Shock over the clay mold that's been properly mixed. You can even mold it over the monofin you'll be using if you're like me and aren't completely confident in your measuring skills. ^^; But make sure all of the monofin is covered with clay or else the Shell Shock or resin (whichever you decide to use) could damage the monofin. After the Shell Shock is completely covering the clay mold and has enough layers to keep it sturdy, wait for it to dry and harden and then, you can clean out all the clay and pour in the silicone in the colors you want. :)
There are lots of threads you can follow or tutorials you can watch if you need to!!
I believe in you! You'll make a gorgeous fluke!! You've already made incredible scales!! I can't wait to see it!
thanks Lotus, you're very kind, your mermaid tail leaves is also very original !!!
thanks Lunette because when I have complete the scale mold , i start with the sculpture of the fluke !! :)
More texture !!! What do you think ? With pearl ex pigments !!! :)
Very Pretty! Really nice colors, and very sparkly :swoon: Good work!
