Thank you very much ! In fact, all the scales have been molded on (about 1-2cm for a scale) and then, painted one by one three times : one layer in blue, one layer in dark bue for the shadows and one layer in silver for lights ! More than 20h of working !

What type of silicone did you use Lira? The tail looks great!
I used the worst silicone ever ! XD But I had no money so I decided to use it until I sell some latex and silicone tails (obviously, made with Dragon Skin). I used silicone for bathroom, like the Latex ALEX Plus, but with silicone ^^ But notice that, if you want to paint this type of silicone,you need to mix the paint with translucent silicone and Zippo fuel.
You did a very good job considering it was Alex Silicone. :> And yeah, I'm using Dragonskin as well. Still, very well done!

The zippo fuel acts as a thinner for the paint and alex.

Yeah, Zippo Fuel is used to liquefy the silicone cause it's so dense that you can absolutely not mix any paint with it ! :rolleyes: I'm gonna make another one like mine for my little sister, but only with translucent silicone. I'll make the paint job directly on the Lycra/spandex. And it'll be the last one ! Never again ! >_<
Don't forget this if you want to use this type of silicone : be careful. Protect your hands, your eyes and your lungs cause if you not, it'll hurt you (it hurted me a lot, "We must suffer to be beautiful.").

I need to add a belt to mine too cuz the back of the hipline always flops open when I swim and u can see my butt :(

Pretty cold, the water was about 19C but the weather had turned for the worst so I think it was about 14C. The water was definitely warmer then the air temp, and then came the wind which made it worse. The other girl even turned blue from the cold so we draped her with a towel.Quote:

Its 2 Churhchill fins fused together. Stevi hasn't glued it down yet because I might swap the monfin with my magic tail fin because I think I prefer the shape, but we shall see. But she has done an amazing job on my tail, I cannot wait to see it.Quote:
