Yes, I posted these in the photoshoot thread, but I thought they would be fitting here in the thread that lead up to them...

You look fantastic! That's a great location too! It has a magical vibe
Thanks! It's the Skylands Manor in Ringwood! I've shot so many weddings up there, I knew the setting would be perfect...unfortunately, these days, by the time I get out of work and up there, the sun is already setting :( and on the weekends, it's packed with wedding parties!
I'm so happy to see this thing completed. It was such a wonderful process and with a stunning result <3

You look stunning!
Hey on the weekend the weddings would have a mermaid in the background, sounds good to me.
Hahaha! In the dark shot with the long pond, we were going to shoot there, first, but a couple of guys asked if we could hold off because there was a surprise engagement about to take place there! We went up to the round pool and soon, the newly engaged couple came up and took a couple of snaps with me!
That's our MerGirl, you'll have made there photo's special. I believe that.
:)
I absolutely adore those hip fins! And, you should have asked the couple if they needed entertainment at their wedding :)
love <3
It's hard to say because there are so many beautiful tails, but I think it's one of the best I've seen, right on the top with the prettiest Merbellas and Mertailor performance ones.
And in the eyes of someone who loves purple, this is no doubt THE most beautiful tail of all.
Congratulations, you must be so happy with the result of all your hard work :)
:jawdrop: Thanks! Wow!
I'm thrilled with it! Two more tweaks and it's done - moving the heel fin up a little and modifying the top so it doesnt scoop water. I would like to rework the entire top, but I may just hang back on that for a while. It's kind of a hodge podge of colors and I kind of want something a bit more cohesive. But I'm making accoutrements, so I may not need to!
I taught myself how to tie fishnet! I have some beautiful nylon cording in a rainbow of colors!
That is a very professional top-of-the-line tail on a very pretty mermomma on a very long fountain! :mermaid kiss:
The pectoral fins are lovely too, and while I also noticed that the dorsal/heel fin was a bit low, I think changes at this point are entirely optional or even unnecessary! You have met with tremendous success and perhaps should consider performing in a wedding environment!
Thank you, Michelle! I am very happy with it!
I put the fin over my heels to hide/distract from them, but I found that when I flexed my ankles, it made the fin lay down. I'll be moving it up mid-calf. This way, I won't put pressure on it if I have to stand on it.
:)
Just a little teaser...Pearlie Mae's Beautiful Nonsense is gearing up for production of some new items! Tee shirts and tote bags! A whole array of designs! Samples will be posted here, on facebook and on the Etsy link in my signature!

Screen printing? :3
Yes! I needed some staff shirts for the Maker Faire, so I just burned all my screens!
Michelle, I love that! :mermaid kiss:
Nice! Can't wait to see all the designs~
