Also, I adore your dorsal fin!
I promised on my Facebook page that as soon as I hit 700 fans I will give a hint about my tail design, for those curious.
Just a thought, have any of you with tails tried putting a piece of wig tape at the back of the tail so it doesn't gap when swimming? When I did Burlesque that's what we did with our undies to keep them from slipping... curious if it'd work here too
I suspect tape wouldn't stick to silicone. It would be worth a try, though! I wonder if one could simply put a couple of darts in the back waist of the tail, either by sewing or gluing.
I've noticed it only gaps when I swim fast. In my first video in which I swim more slowly it doesn't gap that much. (practically zero gaping) =) (But maybe it's different for everyone?)
I think there will always be a gap simply due to the way you have to swim in tails.
Hi all, a lot is going on in my life right now... I recently posted a thread about raising funds for my tail here>>> http://mernetwork.com/index/showthre...455#post151455 if you would be so kind as to check it out. If this is an inappropriate place to share this thread, please feel free to remove it. Thank you Finfolk pod!
I am completely in love with that video Crystal!
I've stalked /watched your videos numerous times Crystal! So jealous you have pools like that!
Meilyn, you do have this AWESOME pool near you! http://redtri.com/seattle/snohomish-aquatic-center/
That pool is an 2 and half hour drive, (so 5 hours driving on a day) but totally worth it! Wish it was cheaper (entrance is 51 euro's... Ouch! )
I need to finish my free dive coarse, so I'll be in that pool again in december. Might bring my tail again too ^^
Bit they don't seem to allow personal items. .. i shall call and ask
that tail :swoon: that pool :hail: I wish I could swim in something that amazing....tail and pool
The Finfolk girls should be landing in Hawaii anytime now! :) Super excited for them (and immensely jealous ;)).
It does seem like a great place to live in, even for Mermaiding :)
I applied for a job at H&M a few weeks ago and I thought how awesome it would be to make it work for some time and then be relocated to their store in Hawaii. But then, I got rejected and the dream ended. But I might make it happen someday. I'm a patient fish ;)
