Wow! It looks great!
Awesome!
Thanks!
Wow.... Just, wow....
I would like to say that you are one of the coolest people I have ever met. You have so much talent! Good for you for going for such a big project like this! I admire you!
You're moving so quickly!! It's like every day I log on you've done a week's worth of work ^^
Sorry for no updates. I'll be testing how to paint tomorrow and will be figuring out how exactly I'm gonna seam everything together.
Okay I have some updates! I made a plaster strip model of my legs to help me seam the scales! My friend and I had lots of fun making it!

I'm in the mono fin because my legs spread apart a certain way when in the foil, so I just wanted to make sure the sizing was perfect.
I ended up making a second half, and I just plastered the 2 together,
I also plan on making a shell top with these shells, so rope, and some other little shells and starfish I have.

looking good. i did the exact same thing for my legs front and back then put the two together. please remember to measure yourself and then make your manequine the exactly the same size other wise when you put your scales on they will crinkle and crease. I love your flipper. i think its betta than mine ive done a h20 inspired one too. great work and your soooo young i could of never pulled off something like this at that age. CONGRATULATIONS
Thanks:)

So beautiful!!
I wish I had the know-how to work with silicone.
I'd love to do a slightly translucent white tail, like the picture above.
You may want to make it a little tighter than your cast so it's not baggy when you wear it in the water. Remember that you compress some in the water, so even if it feels like it fits okay out of the water, it'll be loose when you swim.
The cool thing about silicone is that it stretches so nicely anyway, so you can get away with that more than with latex:)
Jazz, do you mind me asking (I'm not sure if you've already said!) how many gallons of Dragonskin did you purchase? :) I know you are short so you probably didn't need to use a giant amount, but how far did the gallons go for you? Do you have much left over? :) Thank you!
I ordered 4 gallons or 2 one gallon orders. I have half a gallon left. I used a lot for my fluke. 2 full gallons!! I used too much and my fluke is really thick but I still love it! If you want to know the amount to use Measure the volume of the mold by using water
Thank you! ^_^ I estimated 3 gallon orders for myself, just to be safe, so its good knowing you've still got some left over! :D
