Keiris your tail is beautiful!
Do you have a video of it in action and what price will you be selling these tails for?
AHHHHH this tail is so pretty!!! I'm on the search for my first tail and its been so hard to find those who make hybrids!!! Whenever you're ready to take orders or set up shop pretty please let me know :D ;)
AH! I am so close! I have almost saved enough for a Keiris Hybrid tail, he said it probably would cost half of a full silicone, so I'm guessing thats around 1500! So yea, yay!
Alright Keiris. I need one. Am I right that these have a fabric base or am I completely off the mark?

Ok so I was looking for some inspiration and I came across your hybrid tail. WOW! I mean that tail is fantastic! I thought of doing this but was afraid the silicone wouldn't adhere this may be a method I try for my next tail! You are gorgeous and so talented! Thank you so much for posting your journey on here.
How much would one cost of you were to sell?and how much do they weigh compare to a full silicone tail?Im getting a new tail In March and this is something I am very Interested in this idea.
I just came across this thread. And Holy Wow Keiris! You did such an amazing job. From the colors to the fluke. (dat fluke tho) :jawdrop:
When you get a price list going please let me know. This is definitely one of the front runners for my first starter tail!! Btw....Don't ever cut that beautiful head of hair.
Hi Sabrina. A full silicone tail usually weighs an average of 35 to 40 lbs. depending on the thickness of the scales, the fluke and all the decorative fins added. This is a lycra base with a thin layer of silicone over it, a much smaller monofin and thinner, smaller fins so as not to pull on the lycra. MUCH lighter and more streamline.:) They run between 1,200 and 1,500. Thanks for asking.
This will be put into consideration! :)
Do you have any close ups of your tail? I love would to see the color detailing <3
Didn't know if I should PM these questions but, if anyone is seriously considering buying a tail from you they might have the same questions lol
so what is included with the 1500?
and what do you believe is the wait time is?
Ok, I guess I missed it~ thanks
Hi Roman!
That price includes this fluke ( with choice of bottom edge shape)
built in monofin (no straps)
dorsal fin
smaller pectoral fins
two heel fins
silicone/glitter topcoat
Modest striping
choice base color (5 available)
silicone waist belt
Remember, if you have read through the entire thread, the body of the tail is a pre-screened lycra. I am limited in how much I can alter color because of possible silicone rejection. The silicone coating is VERY thin in order to maintain a glossy finish and that will dull a little over time as does any "slime coat." Shipping is separate.
Thanks love !!
Wow Keiris the tail is just stunning and the colors are a work of art, you have set the standard to a new level with the hybrid tail. I am impressed

Why thank you so much Sean!
Absolutely amazing!

That is beautiful work! I like the idea of a hybrid tail. I have 2 full body fabric tails that I use with a Mahina fin. I wonder if the the same concept could work with a hybrid tail? They are basically swim gowns. (getting out of the water is comical, I kick off the fin and walk like Morticia Adams). I love how the colors reflect the light in Keris' tail.

I know I've gushed over your tail before, but it still makes me happy to see it! You did such a lovely job on it!
I was curious though, how has it been holding up? Any fabric/silicone issues? Has it been an absolute dream? <3
