She checked in with me last night Namiko and she's nearly all caught up. She just made a post on FB about how she wouldn't be replying to anyone because she's going into hermit tail making mode. lol. So I'd take that as a good sign ;) I'm sure you'll hear soon.
Oh, I can, but she didn't get a chance to do what she wanted with my fins. I was going to send it back so she can finish up the little things. :-) I know a bit of black has scrapped off my fluke. :-( Not enough for public notice, but when I was cleaning it I saw that. Overall, though, damn good tail and I love it with every fiber of my being. When Raven made that tail, she truly made a piece of me. I have felt so confident, amazing and just stunning. merchanic and ariel - do you wear neoprene socks with the tail? Just wondering if using them or not using them might make a difference with the squeaking
I don't use socks or booties, but I don't squeak. O.o
I just got lavacore booties and oh my god they work better than neoprene! Neoprene tends to cause rubbing (not enough to cause a blister) but a rash or rub mark so I switched to lavacore so not only are my feet way happier but also warm =]
I've got Lavacore as well. They're so fuzzy inside!! They're very comfy :)

like it says they have a water proof lining but the water can just come in through the top. but if you walking along the beach in them your feet don't get wet.....or sandy for that matter :D

I am at 183 days today and was wondering the same thing. I had a terrible nightmare 2 nights ago and now am extra paranoid and dieing to see photos at least. LOL. . I dreamt I received my email from Merbella's with a sneak peak of my tail and it was the wrong color. It was light blue and pink stripes and looked awful. LOL I was so upset and tried explaining to her it wasn't right. Then in my dream, I realized I had been dreaming and contacted her again. Now it was red with some weird belt like thing. I told her it wasn't right and was supposed to be blue/purple, ect and that I needed it for a gig in April and she told me she would not refund me, not remake it, and told me to leave her alone. She totally looked like the Snow Queen in 'the lion, witch, and wardrobe' movie...LOL..I was so relieved to wake up. I woke up at exactly 5:55 am and made a wish quickly that my tail would be perfect :)Quote:

That's so funny, I do the same thing! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has Merbella's tails related nightmares xD
I dreamt that I received the tail, but I tore it putting it on! I was devastated and woke up all emotional.

I had nightmares that my markings were badly spray painted on and the fins were all wrong. XD I'd have nightmares of it being too small... one was really weird where I had to swim to her to get it, but then it was made out of a gelatin thing and was NOTHING like my tail. XD BUT more often than not I had dreams of just being in it. :3 My nightmares were usually size related... I was worried I was measured wrong! But everything turned out fine. :-)
So, don't worry little mers, no matter how long the wait, you'll get a dang good tail!!! ^-^
Hi Kailani, I think I've read somewhere that the blue color of your tail is fluorescent. I'm curious, did you ever test it out at a night swim? I can imagine that it looks phantastic...
My blue is UV reactive, but we only had a dinky black light to test it and it was really hard to tell. I could see it glow in spots, so I'm not sure yet. I know that the eyes on my octopus glow!! They are very reactive!

As for the squeeking thing : I don't wear socks in my tail: my feet are pretty wide for the monofin and I almost swim without pulling the straps over my feet. (it takes over half an hout to do one strap over my feet, and then I always struggle on punning on the second one! ==>> HORROR. So, squeeking it is! :D lol
And as for the weird dreams: I still have nightmares of my tail falling apart etc, it's just not fun :p
I did not get my top either and I hope not it's back at customs :( (I haven't got any replay after final payment)

i am looking for people who have purchased a merbellas basic tail with a competitor mono fin. i am ordering my tail soon and i just want people to tell me about the basic with competitors flukes. i have seen many different fluke shapes with the competitors and wanted to know if they paid extra or something can you give me some advice if you own one thanks. ;)
