For whatever reason, no matter when I make my images websized, or link the web location, the pictures won't post :( so here is the link to my Facebook Photography page with the mermaid pictures I have taken. These girls were LOVELY to work with. I am hoping to work with them all again soon. Next time with an underwater camera. More pictures will be added as I am still editing some pictures. I am the photographer (not one of the mermaids. They are tagged in their pictures. So if you are one here ladies, give a shout out!
Does anyone have any tips on doing silicone tails in rivers? Most pretty waterfalls and swimming holes up here require a bit of a hike which isn’t fun with a silicone tail. I found a really pretty swimming hole with a tiny walk and a massive waterfall but the water is very deep.

Went to Maui a few weeks ago and got pictures of myself underwater in my tail for the first time ever! The water was a little foggy that day (foggy for Hawaii, that is; by most ocean standards it was absolutely crystal) so it was hard to see the phone screen underwater and we therefore didn’t get too many good pictures. Still really excited, though!

@Merman Oliver, is that the Dive Tower in Siegburg?
I didn't know they allowed freedivers, let alone merfolk.
Most dive facilities thereabouts I've looked into are still very focused on bubblers and seem to regard everything else as exotic (had to explain to them lengthily what I do, and they didn't seem to get it regardless)
Yes, that is the Dive4Life in Siegburg. They allow freedivers, at times there are way more freedivers than scuba divers there, and several freediving schools use it for teaching the "deep" part of the courses, as it has a maximum depth of 20m with a big ledge at 7ish.Quote:

Photos from my photoshoot from yesterday, at the Omeo shipwreck dive trail. It’s a very popular location, hence why the water is quite turbid from everyone stirring up the sand. Not too good for when the mermaids want to play! But, the particles of sand do add a lovely touch to the photos. By the way, my Mernation tail swims beautifully, is fast and blends in perfectly with the Australian oceanic environment. I was so fast my merfriends had trouble keeping up with me!
(Yes, you can see in the second pic just how muscly my arms are ahaha)
Photos were taken by one of my merfriends who was also at the location!
