how do you like their monofins?

Well, it's really my only fin I've ever swam with, so For the price, I certainly wont complain. As I'd get more adept I'd probably want something fancier and more performance-capable, but being what it is- it suits me just fine for the time being.

My tail underwater! 😄
Wow, that's gorgeous, Meilyn!
Thank you Galene! It's taken forever! But I've finally gotten the hang of my heavy ass tail and fluke LOL!
Beautiful!!! :jawdrop:
Meilyn.......simply gorgeous. I still covet your tail, lol
You look like a cute little goldfish! So lovely!
wow I love that pink tail!
Meilyn, does that fluke create much drag? I've been curious about its performance!
I have seen may tails in my time and this one is easily one of the best looking tails I have ever seen. Got to hand it to those hard working people at finfolk. The blending of skin to scales is amazing.
I don't notice any drag at all. It feels so smooth and fast when I am able to get fully submerged (floater here). I love the feel and flow of my extra fins underwater (i touch myself as i swim sometimes LOL). I've been able to swim just as fast as Theobromine *i think* when we swam together. compared to fabric and bi-fins, I feel like i swim a lot faster with this tail. The extra fins create a water vortex of their own by the way they're made. Don't know if that helps with anything but it feels fantastic to put my hand behind them and swim lol.
Long story short, I don't feel any drag and if there is, I don't notice any of it at all.
The fluke with having so much extra silicone is quite heavy compared to others though. It takes a while to get used to but even with it, I don't feel any drag when I swim. It's only being static that I can actually feel it's weight. The tail itself is about 35-38 pounds.
Trying my tail on , the blending is not yet ready...

Thats pretty awesome; It LOOKS like it would be difficult to swim in but i guess they really know how to design the fins to eliminate as much drag as possible! Good to know! I want to go pretty crazy with the next tail i order. :)
(Also LOL... I dont blame you for fin-fondling. I probably would too if my tail had fins like that!)
You look wonderful in that tail, Meilyn; we've already discussed your plentiful fins (I especially like the pectoral ones and can see why you like to fondle them!) so I shall also point out that your choice of colour actually in a way goes with your skin tone, making you look very natural! :mermaid kiss:
MerSasha, your tail is coming along well, too! :mermaid kiss:
Thank you everyone!
I asked and sent finfolk a picture of my skin color/belly tone and asked them to replicate it. They did a wonderful job to near exact of what i sent them. however on my end, i took those pictures that i sent them during winter so my skin was a tad lighter lol. I was going for that waist blending thing and this just goes to show you how precise they can be with colors!
Fin-fondling, yes
Here's my tail!
