This side definitely takes the cake, but I stand by my insistence that the first was good.
Ooh! I love this one even more than your first fluke! Beauty! (Don't get me wrong here, your first fluke was absolutely amazing too! I just like the absence of the lime green better.) :D
This side is going to be the front.
Depending on how much remaining time & supplies I might go over the green on the backside to tone it down. I still need to attach scales to the back of the fluke. I'll have to await this side to cure before doing the back. So looks like a good time to head to bed n do more in the morning before work. I only have tomorrow to get it done!

While I got my tail done in time the very last batch didn't cure very well because it had too much paint or pigment so it was gummy. I'll be scraping n redoing the last little bit. I had left over scales so those won't have to be redone. And it won't take too much to fix. But overall did pretty well and held up well too ... we've with some gummy spots. From adhering the individual scales on the underside of the heel.

The "psychedelic" side definitely looks infinitely better when in action. Maybe it was just being on the floor and under artificial light that made it look less desirable? Brought to life and outdoors, the whole thing is stunning!

Reflections after a few times wearing my tsil now.
Well like I mentioned I had some gummy bits in the very last batch of silicone I scrapped n cleaned it off and put new scales on the small area ilto fix it. It was part attaching the body to the monofin. It was a nasty clean up and not very easy. But I got it done. I also did a top coat over that part to make sure it's a strong attachment since my nightmare of it detaching lol.
I'm very happy overall with my tail. I know my tail doesn't lay flat well but its much easier to get in to with the mahina monofin. From side veiw my tail has a L shape rather than a I shape. So Yay for me for sticking to my body cast, it worked very well!
My pod mates have tail that paint is peeling off, my color is inside the silicone there is no peeling off so I'm very pleased with that too.
I'm glad I got it finished. I'm glad I did it the way I did it. But I'd never do this again, lol. My next tail someday will be purchased . But let's see how long this one will last me!
